I didn't knew in the past years, those readers dropped in price. Yes, this gadget seems to be great, having many functions and is being built well. Don't take me wrong, it does read codes (maybe, not the reason I got it), it does track live data, it has some other nifty features I didn't explore, but the sole reason I've opted for the more expensive model (the one with the "print" function) and the fact that it doesn't work, and I've been gaslit by the company, led me and my money towards something that's actually worth its price. The manual was a waste of tree, pretty much plug in and work it. I didn't needed a dead tree to tell me basic functions that didn't go in depth. The company is keeping the software to extract the data a better secret than NSA crypto standards. It's impossible to get an answer, even if you provide them serial numbers and proof of purchase. You have to buy it from their website to qualify for help. It plugs in the computer, it finds it (with the standard drivers), but then.....how to get the data off the tool to put it in a data file? That's the golden question, and after unearthing the internet for the past 2 weeks, I must admit defeat. I even tried to transfer the data manually via the review function, but after today, when I've spent 4+ hours logging data in a spreadsheet for approx 2 hrs of drive time, I must admit that I don't have this time to waste. Going through the print function of the tool, it does something (or at least states that) then beeps, nothing..... You pay what you get for, but I ain't paying it. I want my refund. If you do want to get this, get the cheaper one, the other one just don't work, and if, they won't tell you how.

This little gadget saved me $$$ at the shop. It was easy to connect, very readable codes, and can clear codes as well. It identified a faulty MAF sensor. I found a compatible replacement here on Amazon and switched it out myself in minutes. It's already paid for itself and I highly recommend purchasing one.

I've used it on four vehicles so far, and it's given me accurate output every single time. My 2003 Toyota Avalon, I had a knock code on it that cleared up but didn't show on the dash because the CE light was burned out. My grandfather's '97 F150, it showed multiple gear selector sensor faults with the transmission - hard to get to, but explained the rough shifting. Never fixed it, and the shifting judders broke the flywheel eventually. My grandfather's '05 F150, it showed multiple cylinder misfires. Got a full spark plug and coil set, had to be careful because these plugs are well known for dropping bits inside the cylinder, but got the new set in and solved that. My truck I have now since the car went down, an '03 Frontier, had a knock code on the engine. I dug around, found the cap was loose and able to shift around on the rotator. Tightened that up, knock code hasn't come back. Surprised that one wasn't reporting misfires. It gives me everything I need to know right on the device itself, no raw codes I need to spend time researching to have any clue, only to keep hitting websites that paywall the info. It's just slow.

Item did not work with my 2006 Lexus RX 330. Received 'communication error' like others have mentioned. Went to an auto parts store and bought another code reader, which worked fine. Confirmed it was this item that was the issue. Returned. Amazon service was great though.

Bonjour, devrait résoudre le problème de capteur de Ford. il faut reparamétrer le véhicule par rapport aux capteurs (jeune ou vieux). Valide aussi, si il y a d'autres problèmes avec le véhicule. Merci.
