Is he soft? My rescued BC mix (13 yrs) died 2day. I cannot be consoled, as my DH of 31 yrs. died 32 days ago. I need a soft replica. TY

Hello,I am very sorry for your loss. I had a border collie family member for 17 yrs, so I do understand. This Douglas item is very soft, fluffy and silky. It has beautiful eyes and the quality is excellent. I would highly recommend it.

Is this OK to use as a dog toy?

No, not designed to be used as a dog toy.

Can the dog wear a collar, if so what size?

I guess it could. I don't know the neck size, but I'd think you could make a cat collar work, or maybe a collar for a chihuahua.
