What really impressed me is how portable and compact it is. I can move it from car to car or even use it in rental cars — no installation required, just plug and go. The touchscreen is super responsive, and the user interface is intuitive and modern. After nearly two weeks of daily use, the CarpseSoo T5 Pro has completely transformed my driving experience. This is exactly what I needed to bring modern connectivity to my 2018 vehicle without the expense and hassle of replacing the entire head unit. The 8.9-inch 1520×720 IPS screen is impressively bright and sharp. Text is crisp, map details are clear even in direct sunlight, and the 60fps refresh rate makes scrolling through menus buttery smooth. The fully laminated screen minimizes glare significantly. Wireless connection is quick and reliable - my iPhone automatically connects within 5-7 seconds of starting the car. The 5GHz Wi-Fi ensures stable streaming for Apple Maps, Spotify, and podcasts with no dropouts during my 45-minute commute. Sound quality through Bluetooth is excellent with no noticeable latency. The steering wheel control integration via Bluetooth works perfectly after the initial pairing. Voice commands through Siri are responsive and accurate. Plug-and-play simple. Powered via 12V outlet, positioned on my dash with the included mount. The whole setup took less than 10 minutes. Split-screen mode lets me run navigation while displaying my music - very convenient. For anyone with an older car wanting wireless CarPlay without major modifications, this is an outstanding solution at a fair price point.

TLDR: I have rarely been so satisfied with an electronics purchase. I’m so happy with this display that I’ve decided to write the review that I would have wanted to read when I was trying to decide whether to buy it. I had wanted wireless CarPlay for a long time, but the prices of the available head units made that more of a want than a need. This display augments my stock head unit rather than replacing it, and is ~1/4 the price of head units with wireless CarPlay built in. At this price, this was a slam-dunk purchase. I was a little skeptical when I first stumbled across this display. I had seen many OEM CarPlay implementations be picky about connecting or less than responsive. But I needn’t have worried. This thing just works. It connects quickly and reliably to my iPhone 13 Mini. The device comes with several robust mounting options, and they’re well thought out. (I’m a mechanical engineer, and, predictably, I care about mounting hardware). Regular software updates are addressing bugs and adding features, which is nice to see. In short, I get the impression that the manufacturer cares about both this product and the end users. Online support is robust (including regular corporate responses on its subreddit). The display does what it says on the tin and does so elegantly. The company seems to stand behind the product. And it includes a backup camera and the appropriate widgets for updating the firmware as well as another Bluetooth-to-aux adapter. You get what you need to make this display work in your car. Frankly, I couldn’t ask for more. There are two areas that could be better: (a) occasional phone disconnects and (b) audio pauses upon connection. For (a): rarely, my phone disconnects from the display for no apparent reason. The vendor suggests that this happens in places where there’s a lot of RF noise. I was a little dubious, but it’s easily repeatable by driving past certain locations. It really is RF interference. When that happens—and it’s rare—my phone usually auto-reconnects to the display. Addressing (b): when I get in my car, I’m usually listening to a podcast or music on my AirPods. When I start the car, my phone connects to the display. At that point, the audio pauses. When the connection is complete, though, the audio does not continue. I usually have to manually restart whatever I was listening to when I got in my car. It would be nice if the audio reliably restarted once my AirPods once the display was connected. Maybe that’ll get fixed in a future update, or maybe the problem is on the iOS side. But those two points are pretty minor compared to the benefit this display provides. I highly recommend this thing! P.S. I wasted $15 on a CD slot mount; it was way too flexible and made the display bounce around while I tried to hit various onscreen buttons, which was unworkable. All the stock mounting options are very stiff and appropriately so, as the display is maybe twice as heavy as many phones. I should have just stuck with one of the included mounts.

The CarpodGo T3 Pro [2026 Fully Laminated Screen] has been a great addition to my car setup. The design is sleek, the size is just right, and it doesn’t obstruct my view while driving. The display quality is excellent—crystal clear, smooth 60fps performance, and no lag or audio issues. The automatic night‑time dimming works reliably, which I really appreciate on late drives. Connection stability has been generally good. I did experience intermittent dropouts in one specific area, which the company attributed to Wi‑Fi interference and currently doesn’t have a solution for. Outside of that zone, it’s been stable and fast. I haven’t tested the rear‑view camera, so I can’t comment on that feature. Given the premium price, I do wish a built‑in dash cam had been included—it feels like a missed opportunity for an otherwise well‑rounded device. Customer support has been responsive and helpful. They sent me extra mounting bases when I mentioned the adhesive wasn’t very strong. I may reinforce it with Gorilla construction glue if it loosens again, but the support experience itself was positive. Overall, despite a few minor drawbacks, I’m happy with the T3 Pro and think it delivers a strong, polished CarPlay/Android Auto experience.

I’ve been using this screen for about a week now and I’m honestly impressed. Installation was much easier than I expected, and it sits nicely on my dashboard without blocking my view. The display is bright and responsive, even in direct sunlight. I mainly use it for wireless CarPlay, Google Maps, and Spotify, and everything connects automatically when I start the car. The touchscreen is smooth, and the larger screen makes navigation much easier to glance at compared to using my phone.

I installed this in my 2012 Range Rover. Overall: thumb up, recommend. This is not the cheapest 9" generic CarPlay display, and it has a shorter feature list than some half its price. In fairness I have not purchased any of the cheaper ones, but I have also recently purchased and installed a model-specific CarPlay upgrade kit for my wife's 2016 BMW wagon (for $100 more), so I can compare this to that, and it's the same quality. The manufacturer promises that this model has a bright, crisp, laminated screen; that it boots fast and links to your phone fast; that it has fewer features (and thus fewer BROKEN features) than other similar devices, and that it looks refined and OEM-like. I think it succeeds at all of these things and I'm very happy with it. I have just one criticism: the product listing and manual urge you to use "dual Bluetooth" mode, where you connect your phone to the CarPlay display only for display, not audio. You are to connect your phone directly to your car for Bluetooth audio. The idea I think is to avoid having your phone send audio via BT to the CarPlay display, which then turns around and sends it to your car. I can see how that would be less reliable. However, that didn't work well for me. My car has Bluetooth hands-free for phone calls, and I added a Bluetooth integration to convert the original iPod integration to Bluetooth. The problem is that when you are not actually playing songs, there is no audio, so no GPS turn directions. Instead I used a regular 3.5mm audio cable to my car's Aux jack. This works just fine, and the jacks on the back of this unit are tucked in well enough that they are not terribly visible when installed. I've seen reviews that the mounting system is wobbly. This may be true. I didn't use the mounting options included with this display. Instead, I made a bracket from bent aluminum and used strong 3M foam tape to the back of the display. On my car, there is a place where the aluminum plate can be slid between the dash and the original touchscreen, so the installation is almost invisible. So I can't speak to the supplied mounting system. On the other hand, the magnetic mount itself does seem really sturdy, and the ball is a standard 17mm ball, such as was popularized by Garmin. There are MANY inexpensive 17mm ball mount solutions on Amazon, so I feel anyone can come up with a great solution for this. I was originally going to modify the magnetic mount to attach it to my aluminum plate, but decided direct foam tape was better. I also did not use the included backup camera, because my car has 360 degree cameras and I did not cover up the original touch screen. But this display is actually so much brighter and more clear than the original screen, I'm thinking about putting in the effort to install the provided camera.

I was initially very impressed with this product. The screen quality is excellent, and the startup time is quick — it takes about 10 seconds from turning on the vehicle to connecting to my phone and launching CarPlay. I also appreciated that my phone could remain connected to my car via Bluetooth while simultaneously using this device for music and navigation control. However, there are several issues that ultimately led me to return the product. The first problem is the included mounting system. The device comes with two adhesive mounts intended for the dashboard, but both performed poorly. They failed to stay in place and would frequently come loose, causing the screen to fall while driving, which is a serious safety concern. I had to use an alternative mount that connects to my car’s disc slot, and with that setup, the device remained secure. The most significant issue is connectivity. The device randomly disconnects from my phone and attempts to reconnect. Sometimes it succeeds, but other times it does not, which can be very problematic — especially when relying on CarPlay for navigation. This unpredictability makes it unsafe and unreliable. Additionally, there are times when the device does not connect at all when I start the car. I often have to unplug and reconnect it manually, and even that does not always resolve the issue. This leaves me without access to CarPlay when I need it most. While the device has a great display and strong initial performance, the frequent disconnection issues and unreliable mounting system make it difficult to justify the price. For a product costing over $200 with tax, I would expect consistent and dependable performance.

NOTE: I read the instructions and since lowered the monitor to rest on the dash, please ignore the incorrect installation shown in the photo. That being said, I am one of the 1% of users that needs to connect through radio. My cars blue tooth is too old to find the device, and I figured there was a high percentage of the dual Bluetooth not being compatible. But the fm responder works perfectly for my needs and I can now listen to my favorite audiobooks, podcasts and Apple Music flawlessly through my speakers. I looked into adding an aftermarket unit that would have cost $1200 for me to have replace my existing nav in my Infiniti. I share this because price wasn’t an issue for me, but the install guy refused to do the aftermarket adaptations because he knew the dash was going to inevitably break when removing the council and reordering parts was not gonna be easy given the age of my vehicle. I was so upset about not being able to modernize my car with CarPlay that I started researching other options. The majority of the CarPlay devices looked like crap. They were very bulky or just had terrible lag time on them. I rode in a car with a friend who had one and it would constantly disconnect and I just hated the idea of a third screen (after my phone and nav) that was inferior quality to both. So I continued for a couple years on my cheap cigarette lighter fm transmitter that paired with my phone so I could hear podcasts through my speakers. Cest la vie. I knew I’d have Apple CarPlay in my next vehicle, but I love my car and will run it till it dies, so that may be another 7-10 years off. On Amazon prime day I looked back at options on the market for CarPlay devices to see how they have improved. And for the most part, they hadn’t. But alas, I found this unit and ordered after prime days since I still wanted to research and compare with a few models out there. No worries, price was about the same when I ordered. What I was looking for in a review was someone who had success using the fm transmitter option for pairing. I didn’t find that review, so I felt obliged to write it. This unit gives me a classy Apple CarPlay feel without the risk of a destructive factory install. If this continues to work for the life of my car I will be ecstatic, but I am already over the moon just having everything integrated through my cars audio. I purchased a cd mount holder for my phone and it works great to keep my phone in a nearby place without overcrowding my center council area. For those of you with older cars, buy with confidence as the fm station is a reliable option for all the incredible features CarPlay has to offer, at your fingertips with a fast display change, solid connectivity and sleek quality that this device has to offer! So happy I waited to get this gem and not be turned off by other inferior quality CarPlay’s on the market.

Installed it in a 2013 MDX. The unit feels very high quality, the screen is crisp, and very responsive. Android auto syncs and works well. The backup camera with this display was better that I thought and a huge improvement over the stock one. I do wish there was a way to adjust the lines to match my cars dimensions but that's a small issue overall. Hope its durable and stays supported.

Ever since I tried a few slightly newer cars. I fell in love with CarPlay. It’s quite simple really but solves big problems. It’s basically a remote display for your phone so you don’t have to have it in front of you when you are driving. Which feels a bit dangerous. I personally drive a slightly older car. A basic model Volvo V40 from 2015. It has no CarPlay nor any way to retrofit it with original parts. This is why I came across this product. After watching some videos on the internet, I decided to pull the trigger and purchase it. There are a few reasons why I chose this product over the competitors. 1. It has the best display I have ever seen on a CarPlay display. I am not willing to sacrifice display quality for lower price. 2. I can use it together with my existing Bluetooth audio in my car. My car is old but not old enough to not have Bluetooth. With Bluetooth connectivity I can still use the buttons on the steering wheel to skip song and pick up phone call – Just like this car is designed to. This is not possible through aux and FM as far as I know. 3. It has wireless CarPlay, and it can run @ 60 FPS!!! Upon arrival, this device came with all the necessary parts. Screen mount, aux to Bluetooth adapter which I did not use, a reverse camera which I didn’t use either. I chose to install the device only because I don’t like extra parts on my car. I was worried about the mounting, so I prepared a few extra mounting methods, but I didn’t use any of them. The mount that came with the display is more than enough and it hides very well behind the screen. The installation took me 10 minutes or so, mostly just trying different locations and adjusting the angle. It’s plug and play so I didn’t have to do anything. I was a little bit worried about the magnetic mounting but it’s really solid. I had to yank it off when I needed to take it off. It’s also a good feature. If I ever go to a sketchy neighborhood, I can remove it and hide it. The only setup I had to do was connect the Bluetooth and that’s about it. Overall, I would highly recommend this to some who’s looking for a high resolution, silk smooth, quality CarPlay display. The only thing I regret is I didn’t buy it earlier before my road trip lol.
