Jean Dubost JD07-13154.FRUITY 24 Piece Everyday Flatware Set With Handles In a Tray, Multicolored

Purchased these for my son for Christmas. He wanted this specific blue set as it’s the same as mine which he has long loved and always uses (even though I’ve switched sets since then). Given the other reviews, I had great concerns about the quality of the set and what I may receive. Thankfully, our experience has been nothing but positive with no ‘made in China’ stamps. The heft matches my own authentic set i purchased about 15 years ago. They look identical to my set too. My son is thrilled, and I’m relieved.

Beautiful color. The knives are actually sharp which is why I bought the set. For some people the small size of the tea spoons are really coffee or desert spoons. The cost is too high.

The set that I received is super cheap quality. The metal already scratched on some parts, super light and actually easily bendable by a child. The handles cheap plastic. I can only conclude that my order was a fake set ... Nothing like the set my friends own from the same maker purchased at Williams Sonoma. I weighted the fork and it weighted 51gr. 10 gr. less than my other fork which has a more quality weight/feel.

I had a small set of spoons that I bought in the French Quarter years ago, and I just loved them. On my birthday this year, I decided to treat myself to a whole set. They are so beautiful, I get daily joy from using them. I was also pleasantly surprised at how sharp the steak knives are! My husband loves them.

Purchased two sets because we love having the variety of colors and mixing and matching. Store them with the handles up in containers, and they look so pretty when you open the cupboard.

These are charming and reasonably well-made - - - maybe perfect for a "bistro-inspired" dinner setting. But the construction is lightweight and much less robust or "substantial" than what I've come to expect from Laguiole. Still, an acceptable investment for the money and recommended with a few caveats. The sizes are awkward . . . forks and soup spoons are very long, whereas the tea spoons are seemingly sized for children. Overall, this would make a nice "picnic set", but if I had it to do over again I would not order . . . In sum, too nice to return - - but I'll be on the lookout for an alternative dinner set from another manufacturer.

Best Laguiole silverware. Hands down. Durable, sturdy and beautiful.

The cutlery itself looks good so far (I haven’t unwrapped and looked at yet as they are a gift). To my dismay, the wooden utensil holder arrived broken, with one inner piece of wood completely separated on one side. Are you able to either replace the set or send a replacement utensil holder?

Good quality but not as described. It was a multicoloured set. It arrived as promised from Germany to Australia.

I am not happy with this purchase and I have requested a refund. Furthermore, I request that you pay for the return shipping costs. The pictures speak for themselves but you can see the examples of the workmanship here on these so-called "Jean Dubost Laguiole" flatware set. There are rough edges and unfinished parts on the handles of many of the pieces. The weight is not right as it differs from the set which I have at home. And you can see that the knife is completely missing the pattern. And when I scanned the so-called authenticity card, it brought me to the generic Jean Dubost website. Please contact me as I should not be responsible for the return shipping costs when there are clearly quality control and authenticity verification issues on your end.
