Petzl E78CHB 2 Headtorch Pixa 3 – Black/Yellow, One Size

I bought this about half a year ago, and it has been a great head torch and I've used it loads since buying. It has a rugged design that means I don't mind throwing it in the bottom of a bag with other tools thrown on top. I have used it on events outside in the dark and inside in the dark/dim areas - in all areas it has performed well for when I need it. I have also found it useful for precision work where I require some brighter light for working on something close to me even during day light. The batteries lasted me about 4 months which I was pleased with as I use it quite a lot. The only down side in my opinion is that the actual torch is quite large compared to other head torches I've seen , but it stays on my head sufficiently well. Overall a great bright rugged head torch that I would highly recommend.

Brought this torch after I already owned a PIXA 1. Brilliant stuff in special use it for mountaineering expeditions. Very resistent good size, little bit heavy and water proof. I brought this model as is using AA bateries which are one of the most common batteries on the planet and the cheapest, also my entire kit is running on AAs so I was looking for my torch to be as reliable as possible. PIXA 3 is one of the most reliable head torch on this category with positive review, with the exceprion of the price. Another good part is that is not made in China !!!??? , which is gives confidence and somehow make you forget the price. For the point of view of teliabolity is a very good product. Strongly recommended.

Great head torch well worth the money! Takes a beating and lasts long for batteries. Can wear all day and still stays comfortable. Could be a little brighter though

Top quality item. Bought this over 10 years ago and it's still going strong.

This is a big, chunky head lamp but it's not heavy. It is exceptionally robust and well engineered. The switch is a simple three-position switch that can be readily operated with gloves. When stowed the lamp faces back on itself and locks the switch at the same time. This both protects the lamp and prevents accidental turn-on. The behaviour on power loss is well designed - the light is reduced to a usable but dim 'reserve' level which lasts several hours, whilst displaying a red warning light. Rated run times are for alkaline batteries, I get about twice that on low-self-discharge NiMH rechargeables.

This is a professional bit of kit - you can get the cheaper ones that Petzl do but by comparison they look like jewellery! Fully waterproof and with 3 different beam modes for walking/close up work, feels very tough so you can throw it in your bag without fear of it breaking. Like a lot of Petzl stuff it has a "reserve" mode to give you around 20 minutes of dimmed light before it dies completely - which I'm hoping not to need!

Not good has it only lasted a year before it broke

Gave it 5 stars and it says, ' I love it', and I do. Best head torch I ever bought, by far. Lasted very well with many a knock. Excellent quality, both LEDs do their jobs excellently. One for lighting up the immediate area for localised work and the other for looking at things off at a distance. I've used the word, 'excellent' twice and that'd be my summary. Excellent. Definitely recommended, well worth the money.

Sehr schnelle Lieferung durch Amazon/Völkner. Das sind nicht die billigsten Stirnlampen, sie sind jedoch absolut den Preis wert. Sehr hochwertige Verarbeitung. Dichtschließender Batteriefachdeckel. Praxisgerechter Drehschalter, der auch mit dicken Handschuhen leicht zu betätigen ist. Satt aber nicht zu schwergängiger vertikaler Schwenkmechanismus, der ein eigenmächtiges Verstellen verhindert. Breites und bequemes Stirnband. Betrieb durch 2 Batterien AA finde ich besser als Akkus, da man AAs fast überall kaufen und immer dabei haben kann. Leuchtkraft der beiden LEDs sehr hoch (Achtung! Nicht direkt hineinschauen!). Einsatzort: Special camping in Tansania;-)

Simplemente práctica, calidad alta, al final es una petzel . La compraría una y otra vez.

En un principio queria comprar una linterna de mantenimiento para arreglos de bici,coche y moto.La mayoria son con cable por lo q dependiendo de donde hagas la reparacion podia no servir.Al final me decidi por esta Petzl para uso profesional ya que funciona con dos pilas AA (se puede usar recargables para todos los usos excepto en ambientes de alto riesgo de explosion).Son muy resistentes y me decidi pr estas en lugar de las Petzl 2 por su mejor rango de iluminacion(valia 10€ mas).Un acierto
