I ordered some vermiculite and perlite from this company. Both products arrived in individual boxes inside of another box. So far, so good. Both products were in very thin plastic bags inside of their boxes. When I picked up the bag of vermiculite to remove it from the box, I discovered it wasn't sealed in any way--no tape, no twisty tie, nothing. Fortunately, most of the product that spilled out stayed inside the box. The perlite was taped slightly with one piece of tape, but it still left part of the bag open. There was also a cut in the bag, so some of the product spilled out into the box. I mean, would it kill them to at least close the bag completely before shipping? The products themselves look fine. The vermiculite is just the size I like--not too small and not too big. The perlite looks to be of good quality, too. But be aware if you order either of these things that just pulling the bag out of the box is a very bad idea unless you want the stuff all over the place. I would also suggest storing the bags in a box or double bagging them as they are very thin and tear easily.

Works as perlite additive to the coco coir. While this perlite works fine, I prefer the Plantonix brand of coco bricks and perlite and I highly recommend Plantonix's customer service. Even when I screw up the order they make it right,

Finally, a company providing a sizable amount of vermiculite, at a reasonable price.Very pleased, and as a gardener...I will be a repeat customer.

This worked fine for what I needed. Would buy again.
