It functions well with the Neewer Quick Release Side Handle Second Edition. I'm pleased with my purchase; it's a high-quality product that's easy to set up.

I bought this as i record to ssd and needed to use a nd filter. Its a good cage but when attaching the 67mm filter, my magsafe ssd would stay on properly as the filter was in the way. Yes you can buy a bracket to fit mount the ssd elsewhere but i also wanted to use a wireless mic which meant i then needed a usb hub mounted as well. I couldnt see how to achieve that so returned it. I havent found a solution apart from much larger cages which i dont want to carry around. This you can fit in pockets.

It works and comes with filter adapter but lacked screw holes in places I needed for handles etc.

£43 (20% voucher, normal price £53) at time of review Fits like a glove and feels pretty sturdy, I’ve only had it a few hours so early days (another reviewer mentioned the allen screws loosen after a while, so I shall keep an eye on that and update accordingly in future) With the rounded edges it feels very comfortable in the hand, as you’d expect it adds a bit of heft and girth, so you wouldn’t necessarily want to use this all the time, but when you need a solid anchor point for your phone or you’re doing an activity like snowboarding or zip lining this is going to put your mind at rest I have a collection of 67mm filters that I use for all my Sony gear, so that was the adapter I was after, I do have a couple of 7mm screw lens, but I rarely use them, although I did a quick test with them and they worked perfectly too. What I also love about having the 67mm adapter, I can leave a UV or daylight filter on all the time to protect the phone lenses One thing to note, when using the 67mm filter adapter, you can’t use MagSafe, as the filters extend too far, nothing you can do about that, but thought I’d mention it, MagSafe was not blocked when using the 7mm lenses I have there’s 3/4 screw threads all over this, plus a couple of cold shoe mounts, so you’ll have no problems attaching lights, mics, handles, tripods etc I also have a set of Neweer 67mm magnetic filters, which makes attaching & removing them a doddle, highly recommend getting some of those, especially if you’re using really dark ND’s as you can compose your shot, then drop on the filter quickly Hope my review was helpful

I've used this cage to put my Iphone 15 Pro Max into, and then screwed it onto a gimbal as I find that it's way better and more reliable than using clamps Not only this but it has quarter twenty screw holes and even cold shoe mounts so i've added a microphone onto the cold shoe which means I can use higher quality microphones with my phone. Something I've been looking for for quite some time. It's really easy to use, just open the latch, slide the phone in and lock the latch and away you go! It even allows the addition of filters which is amazing Great quality too - it feels indestructible so it will definitely last me the lifetime of the phone Great product again from Neewer. I really do like what they do and this cage is one of my favourite purchases from them

Four because it is difficult to get it out but otherwise I love it. Especially the freedom it provides to create content that once was not possible. I can attach it to my gimbal and neewer holder as well
