For years our cat has gotten sick, frequently puking everywhere! Vet has had no solutions. All she says is buy prescription foods. Been there, done that, to no avail. This SOLID GOLD indoor canned chicken pate, has been a Godsend! Rarely does our cat get sick now. He LOVES this food. I will admit though, just don’t hold it close to your nose. It contains some TUNA which there’s not a lot of emphasis on, ergo It stinks.😸 If your cat has digestive issues THIS IS GREAT FOOD!

Made my Senior Cat sick! This looked like pure Black Oil and smelled bad!! I could not give these to my cat! I ended up throwing them away! What a waste and ai can't believe Amazon, I have been a number one customer for years now & spend alot here Every Month! Perhaps I should find another company to order from!

I’ve opened 3 cans and the product is dry and has a waxy smell. It does not smell like cat food at all. One of my cats is diabetic and I need to avoid as much grain as possible. Both of my cats will not go near this food. I have no idea what the issue is, but they will not even attempt to eat it. I will try to donate this to a shelter. Edit: The company reached out and offered a full refund. I appreciate that they understand this food may not satisfy the appetite of every cat. I’m glad so many cats love this food and can support the Solid Gold products. My two guys, unfortunately have spoken, and you all know how cats can be!

I have 3 cats, 5, 15, and 22 years old. They dont all always like the same food. I especially try to keep the 22year old happy. definitely made a hit with her, I ordered the chicken and tuna and she really went for it. I did cut it it up a little finer as her chewing is not great. all 3 loved it but I cant afford to feed only solid gold to all of them. The two younger get it as a topping. the other two get Fancy Feast and seem to do just fine.

My cats wouldn't eat it. They are both pretty picky, but my neighbor cats wouldn't eat it either, and they are usually up for a bit of strange.

I have been buying this the last few months for my two cats, age 10 yrs, and at first they ate it well and, it seemed to help prevent them from throwing up every other day. So I did the subscribe and save and started getting it monthly. This recent order however was way different. The 1st three cans I opened were watery soup, and 3 more cans were not quite as loose but not pate, and the cats wouldn't have anything to do with them. All 12 cans have the same product stamp code so I'm not using the rest of them. The second package has different code and first can opened looks like pate and not soup, and the cats ate it. Anyway, I have stopped my subscription and am now looking for new food to try. These are non-returnable. I'll take my chances one package at a time going forward if I decide to reorder. Really hoping to find something different to replace it. I have tried Hills, IAMS, Pro Plan, Friskies, Meow Mix, 9 Lives, and many others, always the cats throw up 2-3 times a week with those. I wish I had raised them on fresh venison like past cats, unfortunately these 2 turn their noses up at that.
