This item arrived with greasy fingerprints all over it. Other reviews state the same issue. I had to use a microfibre cloth to remove them. We installed it using the single hole base plate. We noticed water dripping down into our cabinet from under the base plate so had to put some clear caulking there. Never had to do this with other Moen faucets in our home. There is no hot/cold indicator on the faucet as depicted in the listing photos. Makes me wonder if this is even a real Moen faucet or perhaps these are defective/ refurbished ones. It came in a generic looking box which is very different than the ones at home Depot. It's quite difficulty to keep it free of water spots. You gave to rub it with a microfibre cloth to remove them. The finish just doesn't seem as good as other black Moen faucets I purchased from home depot.

I should have listened to what other had to say. The red and blue temperature dots are not on the taps like is illustrated and it makes them look like they are a knock off to be honest. They are covered in greasy oil when unpackaged also. I have yet to install these so I cannot comment on their use yet
