FALCAM F38 Camera Strap Quick Release Kit, Camera Holder for Neck/Shoulder Strap, Plate and Base

Fantastic piece of kit and a great addition to my camera strap! The base plate stays on body at all times, and works well with my tripod. While the actual QR portion with two peak designs toggles stays attached to the camera strap. This allows me to switch between the traditional strap attachment locations on camera body (working well with shorter prime lenses) and the FALCAM QR attachment option (allowing longer/heavier lenses to hang naturally downward) This setup also allows me to more quickly remove the strap altogether for awkward shots in precarious positions. As an added bonus the locking mechanism stays open once the camera is removed from the QR plate, so you only need to depress the button to release it. The camera slides back in easily and the locking mechanism audibly snaps closed. Been using this for a couple weeks now and zero issues. Very happy customer! Definitely would recommend!

Received it today. Seems like a solid piece. Did not know about the accidental release lock. That is a good feature. Nice materials, Very sturdy. Is comortable to use and the camera hangs a lot better than with traditional strap. Used the Canon shoulder strap with it. Fits perfectly. Only thing that the plate is quite small so I cannot use it with my Manfrotto head on a tripod. I have to switch the plate on the camera.

Just got back from a trip to the UK and Amsterdam using only a Peak Design wrist strap. This Falcam set-up will be perfect for my next trip to the grand canyon and Joshua Tree. Being able to switch my Nikon Z6 III and 24-120 F4 from my body strap, wrist, and Tenba camera backpack will make my life a lot better! Having the straps located at the base will help keep the neck strap away from blocking the controls on the upper right potion of the camera. Wish I had this set-up on my last trip!

This camera capture is amazing. Easy to use, connecting and disconnecting my camera. The camera lays different, more comfortable. Great product.

I've been quite happy with this quick release clip. The camera sits more comfortably against my body when connected to the bottom plate instead of the eye hooks at the top, which might be the biggest benefit. The camera is easy to attach/detach. The locking feature is very nice to have as well. The only complaint I have is that the clip occasionally gets in the latched position after the camera is removed. Each time it happens, it blocks me from quickly sliding the the camera back into the clip. I included a photo in the review to show what it looks like in the latched position without anything attached. I resolve it by pressing the unlock button to put the clip back into load mode first. Not a deal breaker, but it happens enough to be a little annoying. I don't know what is causing it to occasionally get into the latch position with no camera attached. Lastly, it could be a little unnerving to disconnect your camera from the clip, and have no drop protection while carrying it around. I'm thinking about mounting a wrist strap to the camera for that added piece of mind.

Have this with a peak design leash and my R50, it all works very well together, the whole build feels very solid every important part is made from aluminum so the chance of breaking isn't a concern. It takes some getting used to if you're constantly using the release but for me I'm not so it's not a big deal. I can see only switching from either this mount to a tripod or strap mount to tripod.

This is exactly what my husband has been looking for. It makes things so much easier for him to carry the camera around. He’s able to remove the camera easily whenever he needs it and strap it back in with no issues.

Absolut tolles Gerät. Die Kamera hängt am Körper mit dem Objektiv nach unten, was beim Tragen sehr bequem ist. Die Platte die an der Kamera befestigt wir ist Arca-Swiss kompatible und damit kann die Kamera direkt auf einem Arca-Swiss Halter auf dem Stativ gesetzt werden. Der Kameragurt bleibt am Körper und stört nicht am Stativ.
