I Prefer it to Gel Packs. Who Knew?
Stays cold longer than gel packs, so I am able to get the full 20 minutes of therapy. Fits my angle perfectly and comfortably. The straps a secure, so if I have to get up and move around before it is time to take it off, it stays in place - no shifting. Easy to fill. Easy to empty. No leaks whatsoever. Also, it is ready when you are as long as you have ice cubes on hand. The gel pack where never frozen back in two hours.

Game Changer
To be able to wrap ice around your foot and have it actually stay in place! it's great! usually it's slides off to one side or the other just when you get comfy but with this you have a spot to put your heel, then wrap the velcro straps around and viola it's set. Very good purchase. Now to figure out if I can walk around with it. I figure it's doable with less ice.

If you freeze them with water in them, they become inflexible
And may cause tears in the material which can cause leaking. Combining ice and water make this very efficient, helped also when traveling and no freezer. Material is comfy, strap is a good length, easy to use on feet and ankles. I thought one had started to leak but the collar ring attached to the cap had creeped up by one thread. Once I popped it back down the leaking stopped. So handy, helps with extensor tendinitis.

LEAKS. LEAKS. AND MORE LEAKS!!
1st use, leaks like a sieve. The inner material IS NOT WATER TIGHT! All along the bottom inside edge leaks like a sieve.

Works Alright
The idea of this wrap is great. The execution is a little lacking. It is pretty hard to fill with ice. The opening is a little small and the wrap has some narrowing that doesn't allow the ice to move into place as easily as one would like (adding some water, per the instructions, helps but it is still not easy). It does adequately ice your foot and ankle, but you do have to have ice on hand...not something I normally keep around the house. I realize a lot of people do, but if you don't (like me) this item is a lot harder to use. I would have preferred if there was a freezeable gel inside. Your foot goes into the wrap easily enough and the strap seems to hold it securely but once it is on it doesn't feel like you can move around much. Walking with it on is very difficult amd makes me worried it will break open. So really once it is on you are pretty much stuck in place.

Great deal
I wish it had two straps, but these are a good deal. With ice in them you can get an hr minimum of cooling

Very Effective
This device is very effective for icing a sore ankle. I’m using it to reduce inflammation in my Achilles tendon. Just fill it with some ice and cold water, then wrap it around your ankle. The Velcro strap keeps it in place.
