This is my second purchase from LinkTap and I can confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a smart, efficient and reliable irrigation system. A lot of thought has gone into the design of the hardware, as well as the accompanying app, down to the way it is being boxed/packaged. Installation instructions are clear and there are also supporting videos on YouTube if needed. Spare parts and additional accessories are available to purchase directly on their website or through Amazon (although the full range doesn’t seem to be on Amazon), which is a great selling point compared to other systems. On the topic of customer service (yes, they have one!) I have experienced a small issue with the Q1 system (cable/plug not matching). The speed of response and the quality of the support I have received was second to none (thank you Jack!). In summary, the system is offering great range and functionalities, is user friendly, has spare parts and accessories available and is supported by great customer service - I don’t think anyone could ask for more.

Yes, it is expensive. But my indivudal LinkTaps have worked flawlessly for the last 7 years. "Cost per water" and the savings from not replacing plants makes it worthwhile in my view. There are cheaper options, and they may well be fine, but I've been using LinkTap for more than 10 years, and they just work. The app is good, and each version gets a little better as they listen to feedback. This is the latest evolution - controlling 4 runs through a single tap connection. You can control each one individually through the app, in as much detail as you want - multiple waterings per day, when you want, for how long you want, and will skip (if you want!) when rain is forecast above a certain amount in 24 hours, etc. It also integrates into Alexa for spontaneous watering as well. Finally, the support is good too - I had a technical question once and they answered within hours. A few tips (/suggestions for LinkTap). It's still quite bulky, so you can't get 2 of these side by side on a 4 way tap splitter (you can just get 4 of the individual ones). Its a little hefty too - if your tap isn't mounted to a wall, then it stresses it slightly. As a result, I use a hose between the tap and the body, which is currently lying on the floor (when I have time I'll try and craft a cradle I can attach to the wall or post but there aren't easy places to attach to on the body).

Pricey but a great bit of kit. The app is easy to use and reliable, the item hardware is top notch. Very happy

I bought the Linktap a few year back since I bought several more as my water pressure is not enough to drive more than one sprinkler at a time. Batteries last several years and the furthest linktap from the gateway is about 25m and still have a signal level of 70%. One thing I noticed the signal level drops by quite a lot of the gateway is placed flat whereas of if placed standing the signal level is about twice as strong must have to do with the antennae orientation

LinkTap Q1 4-port- using in back-yard of home (~10,000 sqft lot). Wow. Gateway setup ridiculously easy- plug into gateway or router. Wow- nice app. Wow- Q1 immediately worked (50+ feet from gateway inside home). Wow- easy to connect poly- pipe and pressure reducer. Wow- easy to run pipe over dirt (buried under wood chips). Wow- awesome app monitoring gallons/minute/ total gallons used. Wow- easy to set up faults and system shutdown. Wow- fun to run system from cell phone (from anywhere). Photos show ½" PVC pipe (painted gloss gray- prevents sunburn) attached to block/ stucco fence ~16' from exterior walls of house). PVC runs to ext hose bib with back-flo preventer. ALSO- previously purchased single valve LinkTap G2 and flow sensor (awesome) which I may use to run a single pipe system in the front yard... buy the Q1 for multiple zones; G2 for a single. Very well built and engineered.

This is the best of the best from the automated irrigation world. Not only the products are high quality, the app provides you with so many functions to program or run watering cycles in demand. Every single feature I could think of is there. Thanks for such a great product!

Funktioniert gut und zuverlässig. Einmal im Jahr Batterie wechseln und aufpassen, dass gute Batterien drin sind. Dann kann man sich darauf verlassen.

tolle Erweiterung für das bestehende System. Ich kann link TAP nur empfehlen. Auch wegen der Offenheit des Systems zu Gardena und er Möglichkeit, selbst Dinge zu implementieren. Wie zum Beispiel eine Regenfasspumpe mit automatischer Einspeisung in das Bewässerungssystem.
