I’ve been using this Cutex nail polish remover for a while now, mainly for gel and glitter polish, and it works really well. It removes even dark colors and glitter much faster than regular removers, which saves a lot of time. I like that it’s strong but still feels manageable to use. It does the job without needing excessive rubbing, and a little goes a long way. The scent is noticeable, as expected with a powerful remover, but it’s not overwhelming. Overall, this is a very effective product and a great option if you regularly use gel or glitter nail polish. I’m very happy with it.

This nail polish is GREAT! It doesn’t smell horrible. It does work well for air-dry nails - even thick coats of glitter polish. Some of my polishes are gel air-dry polishes, and this does work well for those. I’m not sure if it would work on uv cured gel nails. It seems to evaporate a little more quickly than the original Cutex remover. I poured a small amount onto a cotton makeup pad, held the pad on each nail for 30 +/- seconds, and the wiped the polish off. I like that it works well without being so harsh on my natural nails! It arrived when scheduled. The reason for the point deduction is that the seal at the top of the bottle was glued to the bottle. I absolutely could not get it off without it tearing into several pieces. At that point, the replacement seal (under the lid) was not useable. As a result, if the bottle falls over it leaks horribly! I didn’t notice that I had knocked it over and a whole bunch of my bottle had spilled out - even with the lid tightly secured. (The 2nd photo shows how much I lost out of the bottle) I’m going to have to fold-up aluminum foil to the thickness needed under the lid to prevent the spillage. Otherwise, I would have rated this product a solid 20!

Great product at great price

I do my own nails and I’ve tried using “soy” and non-acetone removers. I’ve also wanted to support local pharmacy stores so I’ve been using ‘store brand’ removers. I finally got tired of having to really work these polish removers, the time it was taking to remove the polish…not to mention how many cotton pads I had to go thru. Ordered this Cutex remover and it is wonderful. Polish comes off quickly, I’m not going thru a million cotton pads…and the beauty is the time it saves. I nourish my nails with a vitamin conditioner after removing the polish and I’m on to my next manicure. Cutex has taken the dread out of doing my nails. Love it!

The real thing. I have a chemistry degree, and I can easily smell the very familiar smell of acetone in it. The label says 98% acetone. You won't find much better than that. Acetone is not considered a carcinogen, but I would still be careful how much of it I absorbed through my skin. It is effective on many other products besides nail polish such as permanent marker, superglue, etc.

Off course, this liquid is too expensive to remove normal nail polish with it, but if you have gel polish on your nails, it is worth that! I easily removed UV gel polish from my toes and fingers follow-through the instructions written on the bottle
