Thick yet pliable oven guards that are easy to install, light-weight, and reasonably priced. Very satisfied with these oven guards. Already saved me from burning my hand while trying to remove a quiche out of my hot oven. The key to note here is that I am NOT a "bulky oven glove" user, so these grate guards are perfect for me. These oven guards are 14 inches in length and fit my oven grates leaving about 3 inches clear at both ends.

Have you burned the stuffings out of yourself, trying to catch that droopy pepperoni before it hits the bottom of your oven? Frantically thinking "no, not the pepperoni!" and then you feel the flash and sizzle of you flesh? Have you done this more than once, because apparently your self-preservation instincts have gone MIA? Do you have visible burn-scar marks on your hands because ovens are dangerous and you are accident-prone? If so, you need this oven rack shield. It's life-changing. I can also say that up to 375 degrees (the pizza setting), it totally works. Did I poke this thing to test it? Yes, I did (see: missing self-preservation, above). It gets warm to the touch, but no pain-flash or flesh-sizzle. It wraps around edge of the grill with zig-zaggy grasping 'claws.' Good news: this thing is not coming off without intention. Bad news: you kind of have to "bump" pans, dishes, pizzas, etc over the edge instead of just sliding them in. It's vaguely annoying, but it's also a visible warning to your hind-brain that putting things in hot places requires caution! I will take vaguely annoying over burns any day. I wish I had known these things exist at least one burn ago!

Easy to install and cut to size; these silicone oven rack guards snap on tightly and haven’t budged. The heat-resistant silicone gives real burn protection on the front edge when sliding trays in and out, and they’re dishwasher safe for quick cleanup. The 14-inch pieces fit most ovens, though extra-wide racks may need the longer option. Overall, a low-cost safety upgrade that’s doing its job for now.

I can't believe I'm first learning of this product. I've burned my wrists on the oven racks so often. I installed these guards, which took maybe a minute, used the oven right away and no burns. This product is great!!

These silicon oven rack shields work like a charm. They were easy to install and prevented my daughter-in-law from burning herself on my oven while cooking the Thanksgiving turkey. She and my son thought they were such a great idea that I am going to order a set of the shields for them as Xmas stock g stuffers.

These oven rack shields were a breeze to install! I had them in place in a jiffy, and they fit perfectly. It makes me feel much better having a protective heat shield on the front of the racks because it is so easy to touch that surface with one’s wrist. I have noticed that I can no longer slide the baking dishes in and out off the front rack edge of the rack, and I now must lift the baking dish off the rack to remove them from the oven. But hey, that’s a small price to pay for this extra burn protection!

These work great for most purposes and have saved my hands already. Just a warning, after the fact I saw it wasn't safe at 450.. but man did we mess up by leaving these on when we cleaned the oven. They melted, smoked like crazy, and left a white fine film all over the inside of the oven we have to scrub off. This is our fault, but just sharing the cautionary tale for others!

Fits my oven racks perfectly, burned myself a few weeks ago bumping my arm against a rack, and did the same thing this week after i put the silicone guards on, no burn, fantastic product!!

These silicone oven guards are such a simple but useful addition to the kitchen! They make it easy to pull out oven trays even while the oven is on, so I don’t always have to grab my oven mitts for quick adjustments. The material holds up well to the heat, and I love that I was able to trim them to fit each rack perfectly. They add a nice layer of protection against accidental burns and make baking and roasting a little easier. Definitely a handy kitchen upgrade! I hope someone finds this helpful for them to make a decision :)

It seems to work. I was worried after reading some reviews of people saying it smelled like burning rubber or lit on fire. But no smell over here and so far no fires haha. I do wish they were a little longer and could handle higher temperatures because I’m scared I’m going to forget to take them out when I use the oven at 450 which I do fairly frequently so I’m questioning whether these were even worth it
