Blown away by the picture quality and glare control
Iโve been using the Samsung 77-Inch OLED 4K S95D for a few weeks now, and it has completely transformed my living room setup. First off, the picture quality is outstanding. The image is incredibly sharp with tons of detail, even in fast-moving scenes. Colors look vibrant without feeling overdone, and the brightness really stands out especially for an OLED. HDR content looks fantastic, with highlights that pop while still keeping deep, rich blacks. What really surprised me, though, is the matte screen. My apartment has a lot of windows and gets a ton of natural light throughout the day, and reflections have always been a problem with previous TVs. With this model, the anti-reflective matte black finish works extremely well. Instead of seeing distracting reflections or glare, the screen diffuses the light in a way that makes everything still very watchable even in the middle of the day. Itโs honestly one of the few TVs Iโve owned where I donโt feel the need to close blinds just to enjoy a show or game. Overall, if youโre looking for a premium OLED with exceptional brightness, crisp detail, and real-world performance in bright rooms, the S95D is absolutely worth it.

Beware Short life span : UPDATE fixed :UPDATE broken : UPDATE Fixed but a hassle.
So I only leave reviews if the product is incredible or very poor. And this is the latter. After researching the Samsung S95D I found it was a good tv but with some people having issues with the TV dying within a couple of months. Having been in the Samsung ecosystem for years and having another TV from Samsung โchug-onโ for 7 years I went against my gut instinct and bought the S95D to keep our TVs and appliances uniform. Well fast forward a few months and the TV has died and the likely culprit is the โone connect boxโ Samsung uses. I have a scheduled service appointment but from what I gather this is going to be a band aid on a bullet wound type of deal. Really disappointing to spend this kind of money on something that doesnโt work. Will update as I can. Update: I scheduled a maintenance visit as the TV is under warranty. The Samsung care team showed up and were professional, and quickly found the problem, which was in fact the โone connect boxโ. They told me they would have to order the parts and reschedule a visit when they got them. Luckily for me tho they had the parts and came back later the same day and got my TV working again. So from shutdown to up and running total time down was about 4 days, and probably couldโve been quicker if my schedule allowed for it. If other issues arise I will post. All said however, I expect an expensive TV to work longer than it did so I cannot rate higher than 4 stars, but Iโm happy itโs fixed and the down time was minimal and the customer service was prompt and professional. Update: May 25 2025 The TV will not power again, completely unacceptable for such an expensive tv, to have the same issue twice within 6 months. Will update what Samsung support does when they come out. Update: It was a struggle to schedule a service visit, Samsung changed their platform. So I thought I made an appointment for first availability that was a week out for it to actually not be the case. It was a nightmare getting support, had to do it all through the chat to which I was disconnected twice. By the third time I was a pro at giving them all the information and explaining I had done all the troubleshooting. Thankfully the last guy I talked to was able to help and get my service appointment scheduled which was another 5 day wait. The guys came out and replaced the entire โone connect boxโ and so far the TV works again but for how long? My guess is 3 monthsโฆ I will update if(when)... it happens.

Wow! Amazing picture quality
I've had several Samsung TVs over the years. I was looking for one just a tad larger that would have better performance for movies and video games My previous qdot TV had great picture and bright color, but this OLED makes that one look wimpy. The brightness and vividness of the picture in this TV was exceptional. The anti glare is why I went with this model over the s90. It really does an impressive job of meditating reflections but still lets the amazing picture quality shine through. This is a higher performance tv so I noticed that the 4k upscaling seemed much more accurate than the previous TV. The other reason I wanted OLED was for the super fast response time compared to the qdot TVs. It has significantly reduced lag/ghosting on video games and fast moving shows like sports and action movies. I'm very satisfied with this TV This is the first TV I've ever purchased with the one connect box and don't think I can go back. It allows the tv to only have one cable going to it that carries video, sound, and power. It also makes the TV super thin.

Absolutely Amazing QD-OLED, Glare free is awesome!
I love this TV and want one in every room. The glare free coating is fantastic. I have a big window directly in front of this TV, and lights in the living room facing it during the evening. I am very happy with this technology. Setup was easy. Getting the colors how I want was not too much of a problem. I'm using movie mode with warm 2. Turned the brightness down a bit and and contrast down too. 4k HDR content looks insanely good on this TV. The motion settings needed some adjustments to stop the TV from stuttering. But now it's not an issue. I would recommend going slow and looking in all the menus and learning what the settings do. There is a lot, but it's all there for you to get your experience tailored to you're preferences. The Samsung s95f comes out soon too and I wonder how that will compare. But for now this is a great tv. Connecting a gaming PC to this TV is also very good too.

Rated one of the best TV values for good reason
This TV is not for the faint of heart, as it uses a special one connector box to connect the TV to every function. It worked out extremely well for me, as I was frustrated with the inability to add items without literally taking the TV off the wall. With the one connector box, I can add change, do whatever I want and the boxes right in front of me in the cabinet. The TV also comes with a kit to actually hide the box in back of the TV so it acts like a regular TV, but that's back to the same problem for me. It was a challenge getting set up mounted and working, but I am pleased to say after a few months, it is one of the best purchases I've ever made regarding a truly excellent piece of equipment. Has every app you can imagine and a slew of useful features, even working with SmartThings. How about a remote that recharges by solar? Or C connection if there is no sun by you.

TV is great, but ...
The One Connect cables that it comes with are very short (1 foot and 6 foot), so if your equipment is not directly under the TV, good luck. In addition, there is no longer One Connect cable available for this TV. So, I decided to mount the One Connect box onto the back of the TV (kind of defeats the purpose of the separate box) and run longer ethernet and HDMI cables to the TV. But, when you mount the box, they have you mount it with the connections to the outside which is not only less appealing but forces you to use the 6 foot cable, which would not have been necessary if they simply allowed you to mount the box the other way. One other thing. When you turn the TV on, it defaults to the home screen. Why not just go to the last source used like every other TV out there. It will go to the default source but not until at least 10 seconds of sitting on the home screen. So, in short, great picture. But, some really bad design/engineering choices.

Great picture when it works
I was very happy with this tv for the first month. This is a top of the tv. Then it started turning off for a few seconds and then back on. It also started losing my internet connection, I had tried ethernet and wifi connections, no difference and every other connected device worked fine. I searched the off/on issue and it is so common with this tv that it's named the "Samsung Saga". I figured no problem I'll call samsung support and they turned out to be the worst I've ever dealt with. The first support person remotely accessed my tv and went through all the settings and said every setting was correct and if it continues to call back and they'll send a service tech. When I called back they couldn't send one because none were in my area. I live in a very populated area on the gulf coast. So they approved a replacement. They couldn't exchange because they was no delivery service here. Again this is a highly populated area. So the last option was they would pick up my tv and when they receive and check it out they would issue me a credit at their samsung online store. That means we would not have a tv for a week or more. Lastly, I get a text saying they cancelled my replacement because they could not reach me. I respond back showing them all my emails and texts and history of phone calls which I could prove with my call log. Right now I don't know what their plans are. I have a wall mounted LG in our lenai and it works perfectly and it never drops the wifi connection or power blips. I WILL NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT AGAIN! If I am able to get them to take this one back and issue a credit I'd get another LG.
