I absolutely appreciate the functionality of these. They are comfortable. Easy to pair and use with my work computer. I can head the callers clearly. They feel nice and durable, but also light weight. I like that you don't have to recharge them. 5/5 but for me I needed the wireless option so they sadly are getting returned due to my needs.

I recently bought the Impact 860 headset, and I absolutely love it! One of my favorite features is the sturdy headband—it’s made of plastic rather than rubber, so it doesn’t strip like my previous headset. Another great feature is the mic’s auto-mute function. If you lift the mic from your mouth to your ear, it automatically mutes, which is super convenient. But the standout feature for me is the active noise cancelling. As a stay-at-home mom who works from home, this is a game-changer. It effectively blocks out background noise, whether it’s my baby, neighborhood dogs, or the garbage truck honking outside. With my old headset, I constantly worried about noise interference, which gave me anxiety, especially when I had to manage my child or deal with unexpected loud sounds. This headset has made my work life so much more comfortable and stress-free. I can even move around and know that background noise won’t be picked up during calls. It’s a significant investment, but completely worth it if you’re looking for reliable noise cancellation. Trust me—this headset delivers on its promise. If you need a quality noise-cancelling headset, the Impact 860 is worth every penny. Invest in yourself and get one!

Worked for 4 months then started having terrible screeching and distorted noise. Noise cancelling microphone also stopped working. I work from home with small children and got in trouble. This is too expensive to not be working after such a short time

This review is for the UC version (non-Teams) w/ ANC. The microphone does an excellent job of filtering all noise other than your voice. The headset build is lightweight and rates highly on comfort. For those wondering, there is an ANC button on the lower left ear cup that allows you to toggle between two modes: Talk-through (hear your environment/colleagues around you) and ANC on. There is no mode to completely turn off ANC or talk-through features, but I can appreciate that there are at least two options available. The ANC feature itself is mediocre. (Note that this is referring to filtering out office/loud noises for YOURSELF; whereas the microphone can completely block out all noise other than your voice, meaning that those on call who you are speaking with will only hear your voice). The ANC is more along the lines of Active Noise Reduction -- so you still filter a lot of the background noise for yourself, but do not expect complete noise cancellation along the lines of Apple AirPods Pros or BOSE QuietComforts. For an office or WFH related setting, the ANC capability is not as largely as important to me compared to great comfort, a clear-sounding microphone, and reliable wired connectivity. If the ANC was moderately stronger, this headset would get 5-stars.

If you work from home with children/animals or in loud environments, this headset is amazing. The sound quality is great and the microphone blocks out all background noises. I have done plenty of sound checks and if someone is in the same room as me talking, crying, yelling, doing dishes - the mic only picks up on my voice. I was sceptical at first but it is 100% worth the money. I have sensitive ears and not used to wearing headsets for 10+ hours a day so after awhile my ears are sore but otherwise the ear cushions are very comfortable.

I have been on the search for a wired headset that performs as well as the Blue Parrot for microphone noise cancellation but in a wired configuration. The use case is I like to take my calls while walking outside, but the city’s 2.4 GHz is so congested, any Bluetooth headset struggles to stay connected without degradation. Watching the videos on YouTube, I was hopeful the 860 was the perfect mix of wired connection and microphone audio reduction. I tested it from my Jeep, outside in direct 40 mph winds, and in a Sam’s Club - where indoor voices are seldom used. In all instances, when the ambient noise rose significantly, recipients on the other end said my voice sounded “warbly”. When moving in the Jeep, the speakers would play static into my ears (the microphone tries to play your voice through the speakers.) When at Sam’s, kids yelling out of nowhere would be picked up by the mic and the recipients would ask me “what was that?” I verified the headphones did not have any firmware updates and then reached out to support. They quickly responded and said the ANC algorithm they are using expects indoor, predictable noises, not the chaotic environments I was testing. They recommended the ADAPT 600, “ used by Aston Martin Formula 1 team members” but acknowledged the 600 doesn’t have a microphone boom so it will also struggle filtering of external sounds. In summary, the headset may be great for in-office, predictable noises, but struggle when in high noise, unpredictable environments.

These headphones cancel out background noise really well, making them perfect for focused work. The microphone picks up my voice clearly during Zoom meetings and calls. They’re lightweight, easy to pack, and great for travel or commuting. I bought myself a pair a couple months ago and now I’ll be buying my employees some too.

I am a fully remote employee. I need VERY CLEAR microphone and GREAT ANC when I take my laptop to various places to work. I don't care about wireless because I sit for hours without moving around. I tried a dongle headset before this from a reputable brand and the mic didn't cut it. This one has EXCELLENT SOUND because of the Sennheiser heritage. Plus, I have tested the mic on Teams calls in noisy areas and it is great. Highly recommend.

I was sent a defective unit. Great surprise when I opened what was supposedly a brand new unit with a printed note inside listing the defects.

Amo estos audífonos para trabajar. Son bastante ligeros y filtran muy bien los sonidos con el ANC. Las personas al otro lado no escuchan ningún ruido extra a mi voz y los he probado en juntas en espacios abiertos y en un café. Los volvería a comprar sin duda alguna
