Good product, but better quality control is required
Although these were exactly what I was needing, I had to throw 8 of the 40 away. They were bent (warped) out of the box. Better quality control is required. Was still able to complete my project, however.

For added strength to my doors.
Replacing the short screws found on most doors with these longer, stronger screws is cheap insurance. I use them on the striker plates, even replacing at least one on each hinge, will make it much harder for a burglar to kick in the door. I had replaced the two short stock sticker plates with a one piece model. This added more strength to the latch and deadbolt. Longer screws allows you you to go deeper into the doors frame where there is more wood. Tips if you do this; drilling a small pilot hole will make it much easier to drive these longer screws. Spraying inside the hole, and screw with WD-40 reduces friction.
