Good heavy adjustable dumbbells, but delivery can be confusing. I ordered the 40KG-Pair option. The dumbbells arrived in several separate boxes, and the first box I received contained only weight plates, so at first I thought the order was incomplete. The seller later confirmed the other packages were still in transit, and the remaining boxes arrived. The dumbbells are solid and heavy, and the adjustment system works well. They are great for home training and save a lot of space compared with having many separate dumbbells. One thing to keep in mind: they are quite bulky, so for some smaller or isolation exercises I still prefer using my old compact dumbbells. But for heavy chest, back, shoulder, legs and full-body training, these are very useful. Overall, good product for the price, but the seller/Amazon should make the multi-box delivery clearer to avoid confusion.

Having been diagnosed with at risk of Type 2 diabetes I have taken up home exercise. An hour on cross trainer and an hour doing weights. Bought there as I wanted different weight for different muscles but not having much room. They give instant weight change in a compact holder frame. They are bigger than a normal dumb bell but you quickly get used to varying the exercise method to easily adapt to them. Made from solid metal, with a plastic holder. The holder has lugs that allow for plate changes so must be used to not only store the weights but to allow adjustment, and the dial on the hand grip is easy to rotate. Having a easy to read scale its quick and robust. I have full confidence in them not falling apart in use due to the design and have a simple easy plate release should there be any issues when picked up. The box they were delivered in was robust thick cardboard with well made polystyrene formed liner to well protect the weight. Each in its own box so not too heavy to carry and no damage. I believe the price is good for these weights.

The product comes split into 4 boxes and there was a delay in the 4th box arriving. The seller was super helpful and offered to replace the 4th box, which incidentally arrived before I had agreed to the replacement so that was good. The dumbbells themselves come in a cradle each, a that makes them easier to shift round the room that I use to work out. The mechanism is smooth and the increments are just about right - not too big, not too small. The grip is good and works well with the lifting pads I wear, the item is compact enough to slide into a corner and saves space. Would recommend then rather than having a whole rack of 2-40kg dumbbells.

I wanted to give 3.5, but have rounded up because of good service (see below). The weights themselves are really solid, and this is a great way to get a large variety of dumbbells in a compact space. I'd recommend for that reason. They are let down by a handle that relies on plastic parts to work. Plastic parts and a 40kg weight don't go together brilliantly. I got good use out of these for about 9 months before a small plastic part on one of the handles broke meaning that the smallest weight on one end of one of the handles could no longer be used. I bodged it with gaffer tape. That and pushing the weight on and off got in back to usable, but it was unimpressive. I'd have given it a 2* review for that reason: breaking within a year. HOWEVER, I contacted the seller and explained the problem, and they have agreed to send me a new handle, so I'm back in business. I'm impressed with that. A word of caution if you're in the same boat... I used the Amazon "contact seller" thing to contact the seller, but it didn't work. I ended up having to phone Amazon customer service and they messaged the seller to ask them to contact me (which they did, promptly). I think that that is an Amazon problem rather than a seller problem.

At first, fine. But the more I used them, the more faults I discovered. If you plan to do shoulder or bench/incline presses and lift heavy, the technique where you first balance them on your thighs and kick them up is extremely difficult because of the narrow sides. Also, since they are a handle twist mechanism to adjust the weights, sometimes they can twist while you life them up from the base making the me of the weights come loose. A number of times now when I was in the middle of my set and one of the weights dropped off. Had I had an opportunity to try these dumbbells before buying, I would’ve definitely bought another brand. Genuinely regret this buy.

Work well and are nice to handle. Only a couple of times some of the old weights got jammed when switching, but that could've easily been an error on my part and it's easy to detect by having a look and seeing that the two dumbbells are different, which you should be doing when lifting weights anyway. Great for the price, half the price of anything similar to seemingly no drawbacks other than perhaps a less fancy visual design.

Perfect Just perfect I normally don’t write reviews often I done lots of research before purchasing this and I made a good decision, It’s a lovely Product Does the job as it meant to Don’t treat it like metal dumbbells and throw them around and it will last forever as weight seems stable once fixed Best value for money product

Great little set for our home gym. The plates do slip. So caution does need to be taken. And they are on the larger side. So some exercises are more difficult. But easy to work around. Husband loves them.

I am happy with the product, however it arrived damaged and shows signs of use , so that’s why I give it 2 stars 😔 I feel like I received a second hand item, and that’s not worth paying full price for.
