High quality product
These secateurs are built to last, very well made. Both items have a comfortable and strong feel when youโre cutting shrubs. They also offer the locking feature which is very useful when carrying around or storing them as they are shut and safe until you next need to use them. They are made with high quality metal cutting edge which is very sharp and will do a lovely clean cut to any plants. Iโve had these now for 7 months and am still very satisfied with my order.

Helpful versatile pair, I just wish scissors were longer!
I was looking for a cheap & cheerful set to do a major cleanup in my goldcrest cypressus, especially trim all the messy bottom branches that got thicker in several. Here are my hand on, honest observations how they perform in practice: - The secateurs do great, clean cuts most of the times. The only thing, which I did not fully understand - in some particular positions, or the side that you're performing the cut, sometimes in the end the brach was breaking instead of finishing clean. Not 100 % sure who to blame as it could be also me and my technique, but this happened several times, eventually cracking the leftover branch in the middle, which also might impact it's healing. But again, most of the times it was relatively easy and clean cuts. - Comfort wise, the secateurs are good and comfy, while the scissors a bit less. But this also would depend on the bare hand or how good and well fittings gloves you have. Generally comfort is decent, no major complaints here. - Pruning scissors turned to be very good and convenient when I've needed to clean up lots of thinner branches, up to 5 mm approximately. For such jobs they are 100 % better suited, faster to operate and less tiring than secateurs. They are really sharp and actually do not try to wipe the blade with bare hands, you can easily get cut. The only thing I wish is that the cutting blades were several cm longer! they are 160 mm long in total I think, so another 40 mm of usable blade would be super convenient in my opinion. - The locking mechanism - works, BUT they are made of plastic. What does it mean? Well I've accidentally stepped on the scissors and the locking mechanism broke instantly. Very sad as the lock was actually easy to operate. Now they're permanently open unless I put the protective plastic cap on top. But this is convenient just for storage and not for repeated usage when you need to often switch between secateurs and the scissors. So durability is questionable particularly for the lock mechanism. In general, as a pair they provide good versatility and can be a a good helper in the garden for non-professional level gardening. Hope it helps in your decision making. Happy gardening!

Good
Been using the smaller one to prune some of my indoor house plants, and the bigger one been using on the outdoor garden to dead head spent roses and pruning and snipping some Chinese climbing vines that is from my neighbours side of the fence that over spills into my garden and runs amock. I find the Secateurs & Pruning Scissors 5o be of good quality and effective.

Pleased with these
Pleased with these and good value for two cutters. Both are sharp and cut cleanly with little wrist finger strength. Iโve left outside hanging on a garden bench, hanging on standard cup hook. No sign of any rusting although I initially sprayed with WD40 which possibly has helped prevent the rust.

Very pleased with these !
These are really good, both the secateurs & pruning scissors are very comfortable to use, both have a safe locking mechanism. I've already used both a lot in my garden, they look good too.

Donโt be fooled by the price: these are excellent
Hugely impressed with these, which I bought to prune my sad bay tree that is not enjoying having been moved from our old house to the new one. In fairness, it had ambitions to become a triffid in its previous location, so it wasnโt going to welcome any attempt to constrain it or otherwise disturb it, but it has been looking so sad, especially with all this dry weather, that I have resorted to giving it a cruel-to-be-kind haircut of sorts to allow the roots to support less tree and perhaps help it survive the upheaval. The jury is still out. This is why I bought the secateurs, as my last pair had been lost in the move, and while I wasnโt expecting much for the quite low price, I figured they would get me through until my old ones reappear. They cut through branches 1.5 inches thick with ease, despite my hand strength not being what it was. They are seriously sharp and shows no signs that theyโve been given a fairly serious workout in their first use here. The accompanying shears also made short work of some ivy that had grown into the engine bay of my husbandโs Land Rover Discovery, despite looking quite small and flimsy. The grip on both tools is comfortable, and I am genuinely impressed at how good they are. I need to replace the washing line next, and will doubtless be using the shears on that when the time comes. Very happy.

I especially like the scissors
I can't tell you how many garden shears I owned over the years. Most of them didn't work well, many were as dangerous to me as they were to the plants that needed trimming. This set has ben exemplary in that they work well and have yet to bite me. I thought they were a little pricey but they definitely work better then others I have paid more for. I especially like the scissor unit.
