Nice alternative to rice or pasta
This multipack contains 6 x 250 g pouches of Merchant Gourmet Cooked Red & White Quinoa. The packets I received have an excellent best-before date of October 2025. I tried them cold but thought they tasted bitter and horrible. I heated them up in the microwave (as directed) and still wasn’t keen on the taste, which is quite bland, but after adding them to a tomato/bolognese dish, myself and my partner both liked the texture they added — they’re easy to use, and make a nice versatile alternative to rice or pasta.
