Upgraded Flexible Replacement Assembly Lift-Off Hose for Various Bissell Carpet Cleaners - Fits Models 2505, 3624, 2458, 2891, 3194, and 1565

If you have a screwdriver, then you’re set to replace that old torn thing on your otherwise perfectly functioning carpet cleaner. Why buy a new cleaner for more $$$, when this will fix your problem for a fraction of the cost? You can keep your stuff clean but time itself cracked the old hose, rendering the carpet cleaner useless, until this little baby arrived. It says remodeled in 2024 but I honestly don’t see a difference other than it’s black instead of yellowed clear and cracked. But black goes with anything, so no matter here. It is more flexible (newer or different plastic), so functionally has a longer reach. Seriously, a great replacement and beats buying a new cleaner. Easy and quick to replace, and fairly clean work - no water all over. Now my cleaner works perfectly. Don't worry about instructions- too many models to use this on. Just look up your cleaner model number on the ‘net and see the diagram. While you’re at it, may as well get a new brush with this because chances are if you’re reading this, your brush is dated and not cleaning it’s best.

I think we got an older version of this hose as it is a black hose instead of clear. The hose works great. Install wasn’t too hard but you have the take the machine almost all the way apart to replace the hose. If you are handy it will take maybe 30 minutes. A hint, install the power button after everything else is assembled and make sure the wider side is down. The old hose had shrunk over time and would not fit back on the machine. The new hose is a bit longer and fits perfectly around the hose holder without too much extra that it falls off. New hose is much more flexible and head swivels nicely.

Much better than the original hose. Slightly longer length makes it easier to wrap up. It takes a little bit of time to replace, I had to remove 25 ish screws and all of the plastic off of the little green pro but the new hose is great.

Almost identical fit for pet pro bissel model. Be sure to keep old clamp from original hose being replaced as one that comes with is slightly larger, causing small leak. If original o-ring cannot be removed from damage hose or to smashed then get a new one from hardware. O-ring that comes with replacement hose is to thin and flimsy. With few modifications the hose does make for good replacement to broken hose. Take time and check to make sure no leaks. $30 hose keeps you from spending another $150+ buying new portable steamer.

The hose seems better quality than the original, but it doesn't attach to the body of the carpet cleaner. After taking apart the entire cleaner to remove the old hose and attach the new one, I found out that they used a plastic connector piece that's much thinner overall, smaller in diameter, and has a different nub than the original. Unfortunately, it's one single piece of plastic, so I couldn't even switch it out with the original while keeping the rest of the new hose. The old connector fits snuggly in place, while this one is just too small. I'd rather not have dirty water leaking out the bottom. I am returning this product and likely just getting a new carpet cleaner.

Work properly and easy to follow the instructions for replace

I watched a YT video on how to take my Bissell spot cleaner and was able to install this hose easily. The only thing I had to modify was taking off a tee fitting and trimming down the water tube to the length of the one I was replacing. I won't know for a long time if this hose has the longevity of the original hose but it fits and it is much more flexible. If you have screw drivers and pliers for the hose clamps this is a great alternative to paying someone to fix your spot cleaner or replacing it.

The original hose got so stiff and hard to handle it finally broke at the tool end. The clear part darkened and the hose lost any stretch it may have had and so was difficult to 'park' into the holder. This one seems longer then the original by a few inches and is far more flexible. Be sure that your model number is listed for fit. Also, the Bissell website has step by step PDFs on installation. It is not hard to install if you can follow directions and have basic hand tool knowledge. The one caveat is that there is a stick-on cover in the middle of the 'reel' for the hose. This needs to be peeled off to get to the five screws which hold the reel on. After peeling it off, DO NOT place it sticky side down on ANYTHING! Be sure the kids and the cats are not in the area and lay it sticky side UP! Bissell has made a commitment to make their products repairable so that they do not unnecessarily end up in landfills. I applaud their efforts with this. With a puke'y cat living indoors with us, being without our Bissell SpotClean Pro is NOT an option!

The machine should have come with this hose! Also, amazing customer service. Would recommend.

Great replacement part once I found out how to get the actual machine apart. Have been using it for about 6 months now and have had no issues with it. The hose is way better than the one that came on the machine to start with as the plastic became brittle and shrank over time. This plastic has held up wonderfully and fits very well with the machine over all.

So far so good. Have installed it on the carpet cleaner. And it worked.

This is the hose that should have been fitted by the manufacturer in the first place.
