Great cheap and simple solution to a broken Ethernet plug
These RJ45 plugs worked great! I thought I was going to have to replace my Ethernet cord because of the broken plug, but then I got these, and they fit perfectly and were easily compatible with my cord. It was so easy to replace, it only took me two or three minutes to cut off the old plug and install the new one and get hooked back up to the internet. So far, it has been very durable and was a good deal for the price - and a lot cheaper than replacing the whole cord. (Now that I have 99 more of these plugs, I think I'll fix all the various broken ones I have in the house!) Note: these plugs are "pass through" - I didn't know what that meant, until I discovered that when you insert all the color-coded wires, they will continue to go all the way through the plug and out the other side. You don't want to crimp the plug with the wires sticking out the other side, but I found that the "pass through" feature is great, because it enables you to easily see the order of the colored wires that have been pushed into the plug, that way, if they are in the wrong order, you can easily pull it back out and reinsert them in the right order and double-check them again. Once they are in the right order, insert the plug into whatever crimping tool you have and get everything ready to crimp, then gently pull back the wiring just until it disappears back into the plug and crimp it - method worked great.

These really simplify the Cat6 termination process!
I can't make a better picture than the ad itself, but I can confirm these work great. I still have a few "old fashioned" connectors with a closed end, and I avoid using them - I should just toss them. With these pass-through connectors, it is so easy to strip back the outer jacket, align the wires, trim the wire ends if they are too ragged looking, and slip them into and through this connector. I do watch the wire as they come out the other side, to keep make sure they are still in the right order, and that they all came through cleanly (none bent inside the connector). While my old style were also clear, you couldn't really guarantee that the wires remained in the right order. With the pass through, that's an easy double-check operation. I haven't had a failure, and I don't expect one since I'm terminating each cable once and then plugged it in to a mating connector - and rarely will they be moved after that. So, I can't just the durability, but from what I can tell, the quality is great, and the pass through saves me a lot of time.

If you have problems with these, try new cripmers
Update - The problem was with my crimper; it was old and cheap, and was originally purchased for making up CAT 3 cables. I updated to a new, but still cheap, crimper and now these connectors now work like a charm. ---------------------------------------------------------- As others have noted, these produced a poor crimp as compared to other connectors with many connections left open. These connectors also do not click in properly and so cables terminated with these pull loose very easily.

Conectores cat6
These connectors are not suitable for Cat6 cabling. When you terminate the cables and run a test, the tester flags an errorโeither an "NC" (No Connection) reading or a general error message. I initially thought the issue lay with my crimping tool; I swapped it out for a different one, but the problem persisted. After numerous attempts and a significant amount of wasted time, I tried using a different brand of Cat6 connectors. That is when I realized the issue was with *these* connectorsโthe majority of them were defective. I apologize; I do not enjoy leaving negative reviews. I work as a network installer, and this is the first time I have ever encountered a problem like this with connectors. The only reason I am posting this comment is to highlight the time I lost due to these poor-quality connectors No sirven para cable cat6 cuando haces los conectores y le haces un test al cable te Marca error Marca NC o error en el tester de cat6 yo pense Era mo eramienta y la cambie por otra y seguia el mismo problema despues de muchos intentos y perdes micho tiempo teate con otros conectores cat 6 ahy me di cuenta que los conectores no seven la mayoria sales defectors Lo siento no me gusta dar males opiniones soy intalador de redes y es la primera vez que me Pasa algo asi con unos conectores y la razon que me motive a poner comentario es por la frustration y tiempo Perdido por algo tan simple como unos conectores

Great quality and easy to use
These RJ45 Cat6 pass-through connectors worked very well for my project. They were easy to load and crimp, and the pass-through design made termination much simpler and cleaner. The connections feel secure, and the overall quality seems solid. Great value for a 100-pack.

Does the job better!
Had issues at some facilities with their ethernet cables eaten by mice. Creating multiple cables the old fashion way was taking up too much time for me. Having this option to utilize the 'pass through' technology, not only have me create cables fasted but more accurately. I had less failures using the 'pass through' types than the other types. Having purchase this 100 pack gave me more chances in the event I had issues. I will say this, out of 30 connections. I had 4 errors compared to about 8 the other way.

High quality and easy to use.

So much easier when the wires pass through.
Old pharts like me have issues with getting all 8 wires in Cat6 cable lined up, never mind getting them into the connector. Canโt believe how much easier these made it. Easy 5-stars

Garbage
Pins do not make contact when crimping. Center two pins do not fully pierce cables. Connector flexes before the pins extend. DO NOT BUY

Good product quality BUT>.... Order cat5 connectors instead
Good product quality BUT>.... Order cat5 connectors instead, they're the perfect fit and completely compatible, won't effect performance, cat6 doesn't "fit" cat6 , there's too much play in the holes of the connectors, I've tried a few cat 6 brands, and this one I bought because it listed the smallest hole, 1.1mm, but the cat6 is .89mm, so the spikes hit only 6 of the 8 wires on the last one I tried, the other just skimmed the outside. You don't want to it be just barely conect and have the signal be intermittant. The only other difference is the opening that clamps the outer shell, if you have tactical cable with extra layer you may need to wiggle it in before clamping, but at least it'll be reliable and tight not worrying about slipping loose and pulling contacts out.
