Thickener Powder - Xantham-Based

Excellent product for people that have difficulty swallowing liquids without aspirating. The powder is better than the liquid version because you can control the thickness. Only downside is that it's a little difficult to mix without getting lumps. A whisk helps with mixing.

Great for adults and children with food texture issues

The product is as advertised, however, it expires in July of this year. Very disappointed in that aspect.

I love that this doesn’t require heat like cornstarch. I have a marinade that I love to use as a dipping sauce but it’s super watery, so I can whip up a nice thick sauce quickly with this. You need quite a bit of it to work, much more than cornstarch, so it can get pricey if you use it often.

Easy to use and easy to mix.

This dissolved easily and thickened the sauce quickly. Works similarly to corn starch with heat (may take more to thicken without heat).
