The roots of my hair were very white. After applying L'Oreal Paris Root Permanent Hair Color, I left it on for 25 minutes to make sure enough time had been allowed. It actually done a very good job coloring the roots. I only used one box so I have another one for the next time. I will buy this product again.

This is so easy for covering gray roots. Apply, wait 10 minutes and shampoo. Great touch up between full coloring.

I'm so happy to have found this high quality product. It's especially good for packing in a carry on for longer travel or if you're away from your hairdresser because it doesn't exceed the liquid carry on limits. My hair is fine and rather thin, so even this touch up product does most of my head. Honestly, it looks as good as the salon.

It was the first time I bought this product thinking it would be the same as a regular L’Oréal hair color, but in a smaller container. I did not read the description and reviews well enough to understand it's not. First, it does not have a shampoo and a conditioner in a set. Second, it burns the scalp. I have been coloring my hair for 20 years, and I have never had such a negative reaction. It did not burn my arm when I tested it, but the scalp felt so horrible, that I could not wait the recommended 10 minutes and washed it off after 6 or 7. I have to admit though that even after 7 minutes it covered my gray roots well, and the color matched perfectly. Two stars for effectiveness, three stars off for suffering.
