Very happy with my purchase. This backpack mount is built with strong materials, has snug fit and seems to be lasting for a long time. It frees my hand when hiking with my Pocket 3.

It does the job...for the most part. The velcro is strong, but the anti-slip backing doesn't always seem to prevent it from slipping. That's literally the only reason I knocked off one star. I alternate between three different backpacks, depending on my destination and what I need to carry. None of the backpacks have thin, flimsy straps. In fact, all three have rather thick padded straps...thick enough that this mount should have zero problems staying in place and not slowly creeping down during longer hikes. No issues with the mount itself. Yes, the mount is cheap plastic, but I feel like my Osmo Pocket 3 is secure. I have seen others mention the fact that the quick release doesn't have 360 degree rotation...only up and down, but it is a standard action-cam style quick release, so someone could always opt to use a quick release with a ball head instead. The fact that it's actually quick release makes it convenient to swap from the Pocket 3 to my Action 6 or one of my older GoPro's.

I was skeptical but this was perfect with my Osmo Pocket 3 on a couple of short hiking trips. I bought it to use at a tradeshow and didn't because I thought it would look cheesy but boy was I wrong. It keeps the camera focused straight ahead and it really works great. I was shocked at how great the video came out from hiking and I now know I missed out on some amazing footage from the tradeshow because I just didn't commit to putting it on and using it.

I use this attachment with my Osmo 3 (DJI) camera, and I absolutely love it! It easily attaches to my Deuter day pack, and once it's set, I can just "set it and forget it." The stability is impressive too as I've never had to worry about it falling off, and when positioned correctly on the backpack strap, it stays secure the entire hike. If you're considering this, I highly recommend just going for it. My husband is already eyeing a second one so he can attach it to his own backpack! It's a game-changer for hands-free filming while hiking.

Not really for me. It doesn’t fit well on my backpack and isn’t very firm—you have to keep adjusting it.

I would have probably enjoyed this item but unfortunately it arrived with a missing part. The screw that would attach the holster to the clip was missing from my item. Returned for a refund.
