Very firm, which is what I needed. Cover is easy to clean. I had to work from bed for a few months and this really helped me sit at the angle I needed. I didn't notice any smell and it only needed a few hours to get to it's full height. I used it for surgery recovery. We liked it so much we bought one for my husband when he uses his laptop in bed.

works great, , use it for my legs to relieve the swelling. This was what my Dr. recommended exactly the way this looks.It is perfect for my swelling in the legs , as I use it 2 times a day for 30 minutes each time. Love it , hope this helps.

So this is how I just received it. No instructions, nothing. I need this now and just read from another review, she had to wait a few weeks for it to expand to full size?? WTH? Why should we have to pay when it’s needed immediately.

-1 star only because it didn't have as high an angle as the image seemed to, but only -1 because the product itself is outstanding, AND it was probably my fault and not theirs.Got this so that my husband can stop snoring like a deathmetal chainsaw.It didn't stop that, but it did get him to stop constantly laying with his feet above his head. It's a start. He says it's very comfortable, it supports his weight with no issue and he's a big and tall man.

Bought this for after back surgery and it helped a great deal during the long recovery process. Would buy again!

This arrives in a severely compressed roll with no instructions or directions on how to get it to expand. After I received it, I did cut open the plastic holding it tightly rolled and laid it out to expand. After 5 days, it had only opened up about half of what it appeared to need. I contacted the company and they asked for a picture. Sent it and they replied to ask Amazon to send me replacement which I did. I did receive a replacement in another week but by then the original pillow had finally expanded to all but a small indent left. I returned the replacement to Amazon. The product is somewhat satisfactory.
