Great gimbal!

Bought the DJI RS 4 Pro Combo to film my puppy, and I’m seriously impressed. Setup was easy, stabilization is rock solid, and the battery just keeps going through long walks and play sessions. What I really like is the modular design: you don’t have to learn or use every advanced feature from day one. You can start with basic stabilization and then gradually add more functions and accessories as your skills grow. One warning, though: this thing works so well that it’s dangerous for your wallet. Once you see how smooth your footage looks, you’ll start eyeing every possible add-on “for just a bit more creative flexibility" :-)

This is my first gimbal as I branch out in my photography busienss to doing some video. Wow. This thing is amazing. A pretty steep learning curve, but as you get the hang of it, it gets easier and it is well worth the investment of time and energy.

You gotta be *****ing kidding me. I knew DJI wasn't really operating in the US in any great capacity but HOLY HECK DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY. In order to properly use this product you need to register for the care plan and guess what? GOOD LUCK Not only that, but this thing is actually NOT as capable as the marketing leads you to believe. I am rocking a Sony A7RV with a 28-70 GMII lens and it is TRICKY to get this thing to properly calibrate and support the weight - EVEN WITH an offset acra swiss plate. The panning is sluggish due to the weight and the tracking module - barely effective. Battery life also gets highly taxed due to this. I am shocked genuinely. They say you "get what you pay for" but that is NOT the case here. This is barely better than any of the knockoff chinese brands. BUYER BEWARE.

We use this gimbal everyday. It’s awesome and works as expected

I was in need of some serious video stabilization equipment, so I decided to buy this dji gimble, and I must say, I made a great decision. Check the video out and see how stable it made my video. Its definitely worth the money, great performance. The weight of the gimble is manageable and it's easy to use once you get the hang it. I love the automatic locking feature for when the gimbal isn't calibrated! This is actually my first time using a gimble and everything worked out perfectly!

I upgraded from the RS2 Pro, I definitely had an easier time putting on my cinema zoom lens on the gimbal, and love how it locks up when you turn it off. I recently used the vertical mode and felt easy to switch out the plate.

FX2 にTILTAのメタルリグを着せて F2 28-70 レンズをつけて さらに 外部モニタをつけて 現場で使いましたが 素晴らしくバランスをとってくれます。 手持ちと思いましたが、さすがにこれだけ載せると重いので、 膝の上に乗せて 自分の骨格の上でバランスをとったら重くなくなりました。 ダンサーを煽りで撮ったのですが、しゃがんだままの移動は無理なので、 場所が確保できれば写真のように 三脚に乗せても良いかなと思います。 モーターは オートズームか 絞り調整が できると良いなと思っていましたが 一人での撮影中は 両手ハンドルか 他の人に無線で操作してもらわないと難しいと思います。 Pro で カーボンファイバーなので持てましたが、 アルミだとかなり重いかもしれません。 簡易三脚は カメラを乗せても安全なだけ 強度と安定性があります。 カメラの脱落がないように 隅々まで設計されていて そこはとても安心 ドローンと共に 流石のトップメーカーです

DJI is the standard when it comes to gimbal. This particular model works really well in landscapes and portrait settings. The battery last really long and can be extended as well for heavy usage or filming. The settings are great and theres plenty of options you can do and adjust from this device. It has a huge payload as well which guarantees that you can use heavy lenses an camera heads for this device.

Super Gimbal

Ich habe vor kurzem meinen RS2 Pro durch den RS4 Pro ersetzt und bin rundum zufrieden. Ich konnte meine FX6 nur ohne Top-Handle und einer kleinen Festbrennweite auf dem RS2 Pro einsetzen, was eine erhebliche limitation war. Zu verdanken ist es den größer ausgeführten Carbon-Armen und leistungsfähigeren Motoren. Mit dem RS4 Pro kann ich jetzt die FX6 problemlos mit dem Griff für die Audio-Inputs und dem neuen Followfocus ausbalancieren und problemlos bei Produktionen einsetzen. Um die Kamera mit Strom zu versorgen passen sie BPU-35 und BPU-90 Akkus ebenfalls in das Setup. Letztere müssen über kleine Gegengewichte auf der Rückseite noch etwas ausgeglichen werden. Kleine Rigs wie die FX3 mit Cage und zusätzlichen V-Mount Akku für längere Laufzeiten sind ebenfalls kein Problem dir den RS4 Pro. Der neue Follow-Focus kann in drei Stufen auf unterschiedlich schwergängige Objektive eingestellt werden. Für Standard Sony oder Sigma Optiken reicht die schwache Einstellung vollkommen aus. Auch der Schritt die Motoren auf dem 15mm-Standard zu optimieren ist absolut positiv. Die Motoren sind durch diese Änderungen allerdings etwas größer und schwerer als die Vorgänger. Besonders beim ausbalancieren sollte man das also berücksichtigen und können je nach rig auch die Nutzung eines Gegengewichts nötig machen. Wer bereits einen RS3 Pro besitzt wird nicht viele bahnbrechende Änderungen erwarten können, sofern der neue LiDAR-AF und der 15mm Fokusmotor nicht das ausschlaggebende Kaufargument sind. Für Leute die vom Ronin-S oder RS2 Pro kommen und mittlerweile mit größeren Kameras arbeiten als beim ersten Kauf damals, bietet der RS4 Pro viele sehr tolle Vorteile. Zudem würde ich immer empfehlen den kleinen Aufpreis im Vergleich zum RS4 zu zahlen. Besonders wenn man die Gimbal beruflich einsetzt. In meinem Umfeld haben ein paar Freunde die diesen Schritt bereits bereuen, da sie sich unnötig auf kleine Setups limitiert haben.
