Got this as a present for my brother. He loves avatar so he absolutely loved this

I don't actually play this game. I just collect systems to use for research for building my own. I like to look through rule books to see how other people design games so my home brews have a more polished feel to them. I like this book. It looks good in my collection and I like the art inside.

A great way to enjoy the world some more but felt like the gameplay itself was lacking and simplistic.

This has the potential to be very cool but also a bit frustrating. Some of the rules are a bit odd, and combat isn’t as well thought out as it needs to be. Even so, it’s a fun game that gives several character template possibilities. Plus, it offers adventures across the times of 4 different Avatars.

I haven't even played a game yet, but honestly this book is worth getting for any ATLA fan even if they don't plan on playing the game. The artwork is beautiful and has a lot of fun lore from the show. The majority of it is actually lore. So even if you don't plan on playing you'll definitely enjoy it.
