After a day of using it, seems that the led's are much dimmer, is that normal?

Unfortunately I had this same issue, and sometimes it had to do with my power plug being dirty, or my playing the stereo without the engine running, but mostly, it's cause I damaged the plug to the actual plastic substrate and we must remember, these things don't like the direct sunlight and high temps, so if you ever... Ever... played it while it was 100 outside, so 115 on the window surface, some of the elements are effected. You can actually measure the sunlight from the LED's like a photocell, yep it works backwards too, just not the bestest in quality for either. It WAS only 20$ remember, so at that cost, blow it up Bro!, get a PC or tablet, cheap Projector and some clear plastic or smoke, it's bangin too!! Ever try RGB addressable strips with a Raspberry Pi? Premade kits for a couple hunion display BIG Video or Graphics depending on what you up to, 1ftx1ft to billboard sizes.
