Parachute 100% Pure Coconut Oil 500ml by Parachute

I've read reviews about the solidity product. If you read the instructions it tells you to submerge in warm water. I didn't even need to do that. I just left it in a warm room and it liquefied on It's on. As for the coconut smell...ummm it's an all natural product, shouldn't it smell like coconut?

Smells Amazing. Moisturizes my hair well. Great Quality. Versatile for hair or skin. I would buy again. Great price for the value.

Is it me or am I the only one that have experienced issues with this product? Every bottle of Parachute Coconut Oil I’ve used has had a problem with the cap coming off! I think it has to do with the manufacturer production. After number attempts to open up the cap, I finally used a screwdriver to take it off. Only the screwdriver didn’t work, so I had to forcibly lift the cap off. I doesn’t flow up smoothly, so I used an a Q tip to get the product out and used it on my hair. Next time, I’ll pour it into a screw on plastic container to easy use. I mean, it’s a good product, so much so I even used it on my body after a bath or shower. This should be bought to the manufacturer’s attention when making these products. Please make it easy for the consumer to use without any issues.

The actual product is 5 stars, but the bottle it comes in is horrible. I had to use my body weight against the counter just to get a small dime-sized amount out. Melting it might make it easier, but it could also get messy!

I'll start by saying that I am not affiliated by this company in any way. I found this product by reading other people's reviews. Honestly, I had never considered purchasing coconut oil online. I usually buy it at my local grocer but they have been out of unrefined oil for a month now and I was running low. I have senior dogs. They have itchy skin in the winter and their noses start to get very dry. I've spent tons of money on supplements, special diets, allergy treatments, etc. Then I discovered through some research that adding unrefined coconut oil to their diet can help (I am not a veterinarian- please check for dosages before trying this method.) Within a week, I could see a major difference! (I even use it for my long-haired cat to reduce hairballs.) This oil arrives SOLID, so I set the bottle in warm water for a few minutes. It smells and tastes just like fresh roasted coconuts! I thought what I was getting in the store was the good stuff but boy, was I fooled! And to beat all, it's CHEAPER! The dogs love it, I love it. (FOR EASIER USE: once I have liquified the bottle, I put it into smaller containers. It solidifies after every use but putting it in smaller containers allows you to melt it quicker. I put it in 1 oz. containers with lids. Set it in hot tap water for 1 min. and it's ready!)
