I started using Manuka honey while working in New Zealand. It's their go-to treatment for a cough or cold, and it works very well for that purpose. In my experience, especially for a sore throat, it shortens the duration compared to when I don't use it, which is the primary reason I buy this.This honey is an acquired taste. It definitely has a traditional honey taste, but with a little bit of beeswax flavor mixed in. Also, this has a more granular consistency than traditional honey.Finally, this is very expensive compared to a Honey Bear bottle at the supermarket, but that is the wrong comparison. This has more substantial health benefits and should be judged accordingly. You should compare it against other real Mankua hoey from New Zealand.

Glad I found this! I use the regular Nate's honey but manuka honey is amazing for people with immune issues! Would recommend to anyone looking for manuka honey that isn't so expensive
