EDIT: 1 year later. Still my favorite wallet. Wear is not noticable, if there even is any. Almost daily use. The stiffness has faded, yet every compartment still snugly holds onto my valuables, I never feel that anything even has a chance of falling out. The colors have changed to a nice smorgasbord of grays and mattes and sheens. Great craftsmanship, will probably continue to use this for years to come. --- My favorite wallet I've had so far. Really great stitching and craftsmanship, high quality leather without any glossy coating like you usually find in typical wallets. Feels and looks handmade yet is put together nicer than many brand wallets. You can tell Pegai puts care into what they do. The four card slots on this one are just big enough for normal credit card sizes, so they fit really snugly and will not have any chance of falling out. The big money pouch is plenty long enough for bills, with about a half inch left on each side when you stick them roughly in the middle. They also fit snugly and will not fall out once in. I custom ordered this in Rock Grey, but the black color looks great as well. Expect a slightly darker color in real life from what you see in the pictures. Based on what it's made of and what I've heard of handmade leather products, it will loosen up a little, get better and better feeling with age, and the texture will slightly change over time from your skin oils, but already it feels and performs great out of the box.

My husband has carried the same wallet for 14 years. It was sentimental in the fact he bought it as a gift for himself when he came home from Iraq. I knew it would take something special to decommision that ratty wallet. This wallet is beautiful & solid craftsmanship. Worth every penny & then some. Came prewrapped in a custom box so I didn't even have to wrap it. They also included a little gift. Great all the way around. Truly a great gift!

First please note that if you get the wallet monogramed, there is likely to be no return option. I did return mine, but I have to say this wallet is *extremely* well made with rugged handsome leather. I hated to return it, but, for me it had two serious functional problems: (1) I need a slim wallet to place in my jeans, and this definitely ain't slim. (2) there are four slots inside and each slot fit just barely one credit card. The slots are too small for my need. So, it's a well made wallet with functional problems, in terms of my use. However if size if not an issue and you don't need to put much into the slots, it's a great find. By the way, I own two of their luggage tags and the are by far my favorite luggage tag ever. Beautiful leather, rather large for a luggage tag but hey that means that it won't be overlooked! This company is clearly dedicated to a high quality product.

The craftsmanship is impeccable! I was excited to get this wallet after seeing the pictures, but I was blown away after I actually received it. I also had mine monogrammed which deserves another thumbs up. I liked it so much that I have also purchased a belt and will probably gift some of these wallets this Christmas. The only word of caution is you better be a “minimalist” because it doesn’t hold much, which is fine with me because I don’t carry a lot in a wallet anyway. Very pleased with quality and appearance, and I have had a few compliments on it as well.

The point of this wallet is to custom make a gift with initials for yourself or someone you love. The company put a HUGE bulky and quite ugly LOGO on the back side that makes the whole wallet look way less classy and defeats the purpose of custom engraving. I asked them to remove their ugly logo before and they were able to do it no problem. They WON'T do it anymore and don't even CARE to explain why! I would not do business with this company. There are other better options out there. My 2 cents.

Great wallet and good quality. Only thing I didn't like is that the leather is slightly thin. But that is probably a good thing for most people.
