I bought this because I’m a care taker of someone who has dementia but loves to watch games on TV. It’s great to have on hand when we watch Jeopardy. The colors are nice and bright!

Beautiful and vibrant a nice size thought it would be smaller but pleasantly suprised.

Perfect size for a homeschool class. The map is also seemlessly placed on the globe. I don’t see any creases or places where it’s lifted.

This is my second purchase of the globe. The stand in plastic and my 7 yr old grandson dropped it which broke the stand. He loves pointing out all the countries that match the set of cards I got him. He knows them all. It went on sale so I bought him a replacement. Despite it's size all the countries are easily located and the names legible. It's a great little globe except for the plastic stand. He's happy with it, and that's what really matters.

Smaller than I expected but was bright and cheery and my hubby made a perfect spot for it in between our books. Easy to get to to look something up. Looking at a flat map just doesn't do our world justice IMO.

I was worried an 8-inch globe might feel too small, but it is actually the perfect size for a desk or bookshelf. The text is crisp and highly readable, making it a great interactive tool for spontaneous geography lessons. The stand feels sturdy enough to survive being spun by excited kids.

It’s a beautiful globe. I enjoy looking at my grandson learning the world! I love to look at it too too and it keeps me knowing where everything is. A great educational tool when learning geography. It’s spins and it’s very sturdy. It’s very detailed and just enough brightness and most of all the value of money spent is very reasonable.

Visually, the globe is nice and looks like the advertised photos. It spins decently, and the 8" is a good size if you're looking for a globe that's compact but not too small. The color of the maps is bright and it's easy to read. I was a little disappointed that the shell of the globe arrived broken in two places. If you're looking at the globe, it's not noticeable, but there are two places on the globe where you can feel it's missing a small piece under the plastic map covering, so there are a couple of soft spots on the globe and if you shake the globe, you can hear the broken pieces rattling around.
