Pamper your inner child a bit!
Absolutely love this product. Exact same dimensions as an Ipod Touch 4th Gen, except slightly thicker. Great for anyone who uses Spotify or Apple Music, or even Youtube music who wants to listen to music distraction free and without worrying about their device running out of charge. This lasts for days! Chose this over the Walkman simply because it's a much smoother performance with a later Android version. No regrets at all!

Be aware of the Risk...
Died Yesterday. got into a on/off loop when plugged in. Read in forums about issues like these. Had to learn it the hard way. Anyone planning to buy this keep in mind that it is a gamble. My money went to waste.

Another step forward for DAP’s
Like a lot of people I suspect, I had fallen into the routine of using my smartphone for listening to music, as it’s super easy to have all your music in one place and it goes everywhere with you. Not that I am an audiophile, but I always want to get the best I can from my devices, and that meant using a separate DAC/AMP with my phone and wired headphones. Generally this works, but what it does introduce is a heap of usability issues of having to carry cables, adapters, two devices and finally headphones. This for me was not sustainable. Enter the HiBy Digital M300. My main aim was two-fold, I wanted a player that would simplify my set up, and secondly would sound good. My previous DAP (Activo CT-10) fixed the first ask, but the second, sound quality was very lacklustre. So after a lot of watching reviews, I wanted a device that was small, connected to the major streaming platforms (I personally use Apple Music), and would allow me to store my music offline. It came down between this and the HiBy R4, but in the end, the specs are very similar and the M300 is smaller. I have been using the M300 for a few days, and I am not disappointed on two fronts. Firstly, for a small device, it is perfectly usable for someone with big hands like me! The Android 13 software whilst not lightning quick, is fast and responsive, and my music library of over 300GB of downloaded music scrolls perfectly well. The other aspect was the sound quality, and I am pleased to say this is a marked step up from my last DAP device. Using no EQ, MSEB or PEQ at all, I have found the M300 to sound clean, crisp and fairly neutral. I have used a variety of headphones and IEM’s including a pair of planar magnetic beasts, and whilst I have to push to volume from the M300 to +70% they drive them fine and sound good. All this in a small, compact and flexible device that can sit in a pocket and I avoid cable hell! I bought this through Amazon warehouse, and got a bargain at £149. In my opinion, this is excellent value for money at full price, offering a lot of functionality and great sound quality for everyday listening. I use Apple Music along with a microSD card in the M300 to store my downloaded high resolution lossless files. Works perfectly.

Love so far!
So I wanted something to replace my old 4th Gen iPod touch because the battery was dying on me. And it was almost $80 just to replace the battery in an outdated iPod. I couldn’t connect to the Apple Store anymore anyways I still like having an actual player because you can’t always have Wi-Fi to stream different music platforms. Apple has discontinued the iPod touch so the only ones you could find out there are referb. So far I love this little device. I loaded up a SD card inserted it and did scan and quickly compiled all of my music. It’s very easy to add music to this player. The sound quality is fantastic. I use Bose, QC headphones and other headphones as well and they also sound fantastic. Battery life seems very good. I tested it and let it run on my headphones for about 15 hours and still had over 25% battery. I realized that players like this aren’t used as often but at this point I love it. Update 10/26/24 Used this a bunch on a recent trip. Batt life is great, the sound quality is outstanding. Of coarse it depends on orig quality of mp3 but this player does a great job with nice headphones !! My only drawback is size of text on the screens and the 3.5jack seems under powered. I have a 128gb card and it loads music very fast and it scans just as quick when u add new music. 1/6/25. I love this little player. My only gripe is that if not using it is in a sleep mode which drains battery. So either always plug in when not using or shut down to not burn battery but then have to wait for reboot every time. Not a deal breaker by any means. The sound quality and storage options far out weigh any short comings.

Battery does not last as long as advertised, only 12-15 hours instead of the 29 hours
This is by far the best MP3 player I've bought on Amazon, it works very similar to Sony in functionality. Since it is android based I have downloaded other music apps as the Hibi app that comes with it is not very good functionally but has some great sound options settings which i haven't figured out yet. However the only grudge I have is that it is advertised as having a 29 hours battery life for playing music but it only seems to give me about 12-15 hours of play and the product support is only a manufacturer email and they are not helpful and give generic replies and excuses. So I'm quite disappointed. Would have given 5 stars if it was not for that. Also mine came with no screen protector so I had to buy it separately. It has a nice clear bright screen

Stopped working properly
This was a great music player for my daughter for about a year. She could use Spotify with downloaded track lists for travelling. Then suddenly that stopped working. She can only open Spotify when connected to WiFi which pretty much defeats the purpose of a portable music player!
