Very useful for looking inside cavity wall. Not as much use in blocked pipes.
The articulating end bends in only one plane which I think is clear from the information on Amazon.The probe is relatively short but adequate for looking inside cavity walls.The image is very clear and it is easy to save images. But spiders webs inside the walls of my old house are a bit of a nuisance as they need clearing before I can get a good view.I tried using in a block waste pipe from my sink but I found that the murky water completely obscured the image.
