I wanted something in the kitchen that I could listen to my audio books while I cook/clean. I never thought about a blue tooth speaker - honestly listening from my phone worked fine - or so I thought. But I have to say that I'm glad I got this. I can hear music and my books clearly - they are louder than just from my phone and they are small so I can tuck the speakers into areas on the counter and other and living room. I bought 2 and they work great - easy to pair. I can't wait for Spring when I can take it with me into the garden. I definately recommend this speaker.

THIS LITTLE BLUETOOTH SPEAKER IS AMAZING!!!!!! If you are driving your significant other by blasting the TV so that you can hear it, this is a MUST buy!!! I have mild hearing loss and can now watch TV without driving my husband crazy. It is so easy to set up, all you have to do is go to your smart TV's blue tooth's setting and it will find this speaker, select it and you're done!! I charge it in the morning and the charge lasts for many hours. If you have an outlet near the speaker, you can simply plug in it. I keep the speaker on a pillow next to me. The sound is just perfect. I should have bought this years ago!!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

[UPDATE: I’ve also been using one of the pair in my kayak all summer, and it’s been great. I have a few 32GB TIF (mini-SD) cards, and they hold tons of MP3-only songs and play well. Fun! There are minimal player controls so you can’t choose what plays, other than skip forward or backward. There is also an odd 1-second audio dropout every minute or so, which I imagine is the player transferring the data from the TIF to internal SDRAM. Noticeable but not a dealbreaker.] This is a great LITTLE Bluetooth speaker for the low price of $22. Is it worth $90? Of course not. Does it have low bass? Of course not. Look at the physics of it - a tiny (<2”) speaker can only reproduce mid-bass, even with the additional passive radiator. It does play reasonably loud, but as others have pointed out, is very dependent on the source. Because of its ability to pair and produce stereo, I purchased two and tested them out with a variety of sources and materials, both inside and outside. They are a perfect indoor speaker; yes, the Bluetooth does drop off if you get too far away. The “instructions” are woefully minimal, and it took several tries to get stability. Outdoors, the sound gets a bit lost, but it’s ok to listen to on a deck. They won’t bother the neighbors! If you want big volume and big bass, then you need more power and bigger drivers. But these little guys are perfectly adequate. (I do miss the Jambox speakers that would TALK to you, to give you status, pairing, battery level, etc.)

Heavy little speaker, i find the heavier the better the battery life. On high volume you are going to get less than 2 hours but at 70% it sounds great and lasts all afternoon. perfect size and performance for me mobile working outside. Like this speaker just fine at this price point.

I was looking for a small speaker that I could pair with my phone, take outside and had good sound. This speaker checks all the boxes. They were priced pretty low that day so I bought 2 thinking I would give 1 to my brother. When they arrived I opened them up and charged them right away. Then I decided to pair them with each other just to hear what they sound like. They were easy to pair up, no glitches. But the sound quality was amazing. Good bass. They didn't crackle at all from the vibration. Needless to say, my brother will have to buy his own speakers if he wants them. One thing, they shut down at the same time when you turn off your phone. But they don't both turn on at the same time (like they are supposed to)when you turn on your Bluetooth. I have to walk over and turn on the 2nd one. This isn't a big deal for me but it could be if I planned on mounting the speaker in a hard to reach place.

For my purposes, I just wanted a nice speaker while I worked outside or when I was driving my mom‘s car right down to the store. For some reason her stereo is not working in it, an escort, lol right? Anyway, on Black Friday, I was looking for Dremels so I wasn’t paying attention to the speakers, however right around Christmas time I started researching them. Reading the reviews, learning about them, etc. etc. and I settled on this one. I’m glad I did. It’s very sleek and sturdy-heavy, seems well built. I think it sounds wonderful. I just wanted something larger that provided more sound than the 5W ones I had before.. I live on a fixed income, and until I was in possession of the speaker, I didn’t wanna invest in two of them when I thought one would suffice for me. I’m not disappointed at all! I will be keeping my eye open and when they drop in price again, I’ll be getting another one because I don’t even want this one outside around all my dust and look forward to the sound with TWO speakers lol. So yes, I will definitely buy this speaker again and unless you’re some sort of a speaker snob, I believe you’re going to be very, very happy.

Yes this speaker is cheap, but it’s loud. As far as balanced sound goes that is not true. The frequency response is is mostly in the upper midrange and beyond. There is zero bass as far as I’m concerned. So basically a set of tweeters is what ya get. I’m disappointed and won’t buy this brand again. I don’t need to spend any money on something that isn’t what it’s supposed to be, full range.

Great speaker at $20 like most of us bought them. Mini SD card slot great for work no bluetooth needed. Now its $145? Why? Oh well should have bought 3 or 4 when they were $20
