Great weight, good quality and finally a scabbard that's nice and crisp, holding the swords firmly. A little curvier than expected, but not a dealbreaker. Have recommended it to friends. ::edit:: On further use, it still holds up. It's tough, but its weight is pretty light (possibly too light for larger/taller/stronger people), so it's good for working on speed, but you won't be building muscle with it (but great for beginner kids/teens and those with smaller hands). It's also a bit more flexible, so if you're working on blocking/parrying, there will be a 'wobble' on absorbing/deflecting the impact. I'll be looking for a sturdier one for sparring with, but will definitely still use this for demos/fun/speed/positioning drills/forms.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Decent price for the set and actually very sturdy, one full piece the guard comes off. My son is 4 but swings like a 8yo and even the small one is very decently weighted so him and hubby are having a blast. Yes they work as practice tools not just cosplay. Would buy again if worn down by time kid #2 is big enough. Also love that they are different lengths because this was the cheapest set that wasn’t 2 full adult ones that my 4yo wouldn’t be able to use.

The swords are good quality and have held up well to use for sparring. Balance is decent. Still hurt when they hit you but don’t injure anything. The frog/belt, however, literally fell apart (the rivets popped open and the “leather” tore) on the first use - pretty useless.

These are awesome. Me and my 5yr old spare hard with them, we go on "ninja hikes" in the woods with them. They are awesome for the price. Im going to get a second set soon. So we each have 2 katanas each. Verry durable, verry stong. You could definitely mess someone up with self defense if you had to with these. Not a toy. If your hear looking, then just but them. I was turned off by the video I seen of somebody bending one, but im glad i still got them. Sick. Just what I wanted.

These things are awesome! I'm very pleased with them and they have blown away my (low) expectations. I bought these for my halloween costume, not to hit anyone with but I sure want to bash someone with them now that I've got them. They look great. The sheath has a glossy, smooth finish which looks similar to lacquer. The handle and blade are single piece heavy, strong plastic. The blade has some flex but is very solid. It would hurt badly to get hit with these unprotected, bone breaking. The big sword is BIG. Im 6'2" and it comes to my waist standing up. The plastic handguards slip on and are understanably a bit flimsy in comparison to the sword, I could see them breaking quickly if you were actually practicing with them.

These swords are amazing and great additions to my cosplay

Image explains exactly whats in it, you get two swords, both for training, pretty sturdy and durable, a stand, and the belt with the thing that holds the scabbards, I do recommend replacing the belt with one you know fits you, as the one given is rather small (I might just have a big waist)😂, for 40-ish bucks pretty good, I paid 60 with shipping but I believe it’s because of where I live specifically

The swords were good overall, well designed, safe and good size for practicing with. But the stand that came along was dissapointing; Badly designed, was not able to stand and was not able to support the swords, because the two pieces were not fitting with each other. I did not ask for refund because the main pieces, the swords, were OK.
