Nest Bedding Easy Breather Memory Foam Pillow King

My favorite pillow, wish I found sooner. More on the firm side but your head will slowly sink in and feel support.

Unfortunately I tried it out beyond the return window, but I found out it's too dense and hard and I couldn't get used to it. I bought it for more height for side sleeping, but the material has little fluff and creates a very hard surface that causes pain as my ears are being crushed. I do not recommend this for side sleepers.

I have a hard time buying pillows. I'm a side sleeper then a stomach sleeper then a back sleeper then back to the start. As such I usually have two pillows on the bed at all times that I swap between when I roll over. I've found that some pillows work best in one or two, but this one does work well in every position (though I prefer a thicker pillow for back sleeping). The pillow comes in a small box and poofs up over time after removing. I opened the box at lunch time and it was fully poofed by bedtime, though i'm not sure how long it actually took. The fill was a fine amount and I've found that it compresses well but does have some give -- some foam pillows I've had are very heavy and barely compress. I did not experience that with this, it did cradle my head enough while still being high enough to feel comfortable on my side where a heavily compressed pillow just wouldn't work. I have no complaints and this is now -- a month later -- my "primary" pillow on the bed. I do use a thicker, less compressing pillow for back sleeping, but if I didn't, this one still works well it just sits a little lower than I'm used to. Recommended!

I bought this pillow after seeing that wirecutter had it as one of their top picks for best pillow. It was not for me. First of all, it's really heavy for a pillow..might be great in a pillow fight, but if you need to rearrange it's position in the middle of the night, having to drag something that heavy across the mattress will probably wake you up fully. It's also very firm. I totally understand (and appreciate) the idea that you can remove as much filling as you need to in order to get the perfect fit for yourself, but I'd removed enough filling to make a second pillow and it still was too firm. The process of removing the filling is very messy. It gets everywhere and clings to whatever it touches. The third problem is the filling itself. It's listed as "Nest Bedding Easy Breather Memory Foam Pillow King", but I'd have to say that 97% of the filling is just synthetic teddy bear guts. The other 3% is memory foam, but's definitely the remnants of something else made from memory foam with different colors and completely random shapes. Some of them were just strings of the plastic-y foam backing. Definitely didn't seem like the filling of a pillow that costs over $100. On the plus side, I didn't notice any chemical smell, and the outer casing of the pillow seemed well made. The negatives, however, encouraged me to return the pillow.

This Nest Bedding pillow is absolutely the most comfortable pillow I have ever used. It is so easy to lay on and it just shapes around how I am laying. Feels almost like getting a hug from it. The memory foam is amazing and really lets me sleep so much better. No matter what position you sleep in, this pillow will conform to your needs. This pillow will hopefully last many years.

This seemed like such a magnificent pillow. It opens up so full and soft and for the first week or so, it was so extremely comfortable. It is massive. I have a hard time finding a good pillow and I thought I had found the perfect one with this and for a few days, I did. But the memory foam doesn't hold up well. It will rise back up but seems to sink in once you lay on it for a while. It's also super super slippery. My sheets are cooling sheets with a cotton feel to them. Nothing slides on them except this pillow. It constantly slides and falls off while I am sleeping and it wakes me up. None of my other pillows do that. I got so tired of it doing that that I had to stop using it. And after 2 weeks, I felt like I was just lying flat on my bed. I wanted to love this pillow and for a few days I did. But now it is being used as a leg pillow if I can get it to stay on the bed without it sliding around and falling off.

This Pillow (I got the King Sized) at first has just way too much stuffing inside, but it is done that way on purpose so that you can remove many handfuls of stuffing until you reach just the perfect degree of filling to your own liking. They even provide you a separate bag to store & save the stuffing you've removed in case you later decide you've removed too much. It took me several attempts to get the Pillow to just the right plumpness, but I've never had any other Pillow provide with that level of customization. At first, there was a slight chemical odor to the Pillow, but after a few days that seems to have completely dissipated. All told, it is a very well-constructed Pillow that allows the user to customize to their own desired level of firmness & comfort.

I ended up removing about half of the stuffing from this and it was still really uncomfortable, lumpy and hard as a rock. I did all the things recommended but I can't believe this is on so many side sleeper recommended lists. Ultimately, for $100, this would have had to be the best pillow I have ever slept on to keep it and it wasn't. One upside is that it didn't smell like chemicals.
