I buypassed the slide-outs and only skirted the original trailer footprint. On my slide-out seals, I typically put skirt snaps right under it, so no interference. I'm very happy with the RV WindSkirts! JBB

What kind of material is this made of?

Thank you for your interest in our product, the skirt panels are made with the same canvas type our American military tents are, they also have a polymer backing to be wind and water resistant, the female snaps are manufacturered into the top part and we supply 20 stainless screw snaps to attach to your unit. Then you just snap the skirts onto your unit and your done. I hope this helps answer your question.

How many panels would I need for a 40 ft 5th wheel?

Hi and thank you for your interest in our wonderful product. The nice thing about our Patented skirts is they are not manufactured for one specific RV, they were created as a universal skirt panel that you adapt to fit your unit. All you need to do is calculate the total circumference of the area you would like to enclose with our Patented skirt panels, then purchase only the quantity you need in linear footage that works best for you. The easiest way to do this is, take your total footage needed to enclose you RV and divide it by 9.5 and/or 3.5 (Example; my RV’s total circumference with the slide-outs extended is 88 feet, I first divided it by 9.5 which stated I would approximately need 9.26 feet of skirts, well since the skirts come in either 10 foot or 4 foot sections, I determined that I would get 9 of the 10 foot skirts & 1 of the 4 foot skirts which gave me a usable length of 89 feet) Remember you make it work for your needs, if it’s a little long customers will role the skirt up from the back side and place plastic spring clamps to hold it in that position, kind of like hemming up pants that are a little long, then re-snap it back to their unit, others go as far as taking them to a local upholstery shop and having them sew it. Worth the time & money

Michigan winter of 2019 I skirted my motorhome (40') using heavy mil plastic and tape. I got me through but, approaching winter 2020, I wanted something more efficient, strong, visually appealing, and reusable. I discovered RV Windskirts online, read some reviews, then went for it. I was delighted with the heft and strength of the material used. I opted for the snap fasteners so I first measured and marked each placement before starting. Planning the first couple spots I took my time (measure twice cut once maxim) but, after those, it was merely repetition around the coach. The snaps are self-tapping and screw in very easily. There were a couple places that I hit a steel member behind the body which wouldn't accept the screw. The only other issue I had, and it was just my lack of understanding, was installing the 48' panel for the door/step combination. I couldn't make sense of it so I called in for support. After a brief explanation from support, the proverbial light bulb went on, and I was able to quickly install it. I would rate service after the sale as top-notch. My calls have been answered quickly and my questions have been answered. Would I order again - absolutely (although I won't need to because the skirts seems very durablel
