Can it hatch snake eggs?

I believe it can because you can adjust the temperature and turn off the fan. I am not sure how low the temperature can go without being at the office right now. What are the lower and upper temperature limits? Also, does it have the ability to cool as well, or does it just stop heating when it gets too hot?

It will go as low as room temp and about as hot as 110 degrees if needed. These do not have a cooling feature.

What are the differences between this model and the 1588 model, since I don't need an egg turner at this time, just a reliable adjustable incubator?

The differences are very basic. The less expensive 2370 has smaller windows which are harder to see through. It also does not have a humidity gauge. The 1588 is called low voltage and has a separate connection that must be used when plugging it in. I believe this means it uses less electricity. That's all I can see. Hope it helps.
