Alienware AW3225QF Gaming Monitor 31.6-Inch 4K Ultra HD (3840x2160) 240Hz, 0.03ms, AMD FreeSync + NVIDIA G-SYNC Adaptive Sync Technology

Dell Alienware AW3225QF (shipped with FW: M2B105) This display is next-level good, as-in Exceptionally Good. Prior to purchase I done the usual research to narrow down the field in terms of what features I was looking for in my next Gaming display verses the competition, the long and short of it is this particular panel has some of the best-in-class features and technologies which made the decision to upgrade an easy one. Coming from my old Acer ET430k 42" 3840x2160p 4K UHD IPS display I was a bit hesitant, as the drop in screen size I thought may have been more noticeable than what it actually feels like coming to this Alienware 32" However I am pleasantly surprised. The overall build quality is really high, it also has a nice "V" shaped mount as a stand which has a good footprint on my desk with the option to VESA Mount with desk sprung arm stand at a later date. The Curve on this screen is subtle and nothing too crazy which adds to the feel of this display visuals. The color gamut is excellent with Factory pre calibrated certificate and also under windows you can modify these *.icc profiles if you should wish. The downside to this display is the fact you need to clear the pixels with a refresh every few hours to ensure longevity BUT this can be configure to do automatically either during sleep or when the screensaver is triggered. In all, this is a very nice bit of kit. Movie watching is great with HDR/DolbyVision is something else as is G-Sync coming from older LED display technology to this OLED is like night and day difference. Gaming is Crazy good, paired with a 3070/4080/XBOX-X its on another level. MENU: The On-Screen Menu is laid out very nicely with hotkeys and under screen joystick to navigate the menu or change settings, Pair this display with DDM (Dell Display Manager) AlienFX and the ability to sync the color of rear lighting or change it like ambient lighting is a nice touch. This display is packed with features, Automatic Screen windows arrangement under Easy Arrange is really good with the press of a Key I can switch profile to have my usual workspace arranged is brilliant. The USB ports underneath the display are super useful, which I used for Biometric fingerprint readers to unlock my System. Future: I would like to add a second display to this one, and switched into portrait view by rotating 180 deg. Side-by-side for the ultimate visual array! Maybe another Alienware AW3225QF as a third. This is a 5/5 star review (I am only on month 1 with this Display and will update if i discover any shortcomings in the future) Overall a exceptional product with some very nice touches!

I did buy this monitor as refurbished by Dell but I have to mention monitor look's brand new. Not a single scratch anywhere, at least I did not spotted any defects. Display is sharp and really colorful but of course it is a 4K monitor so this was expected. Perfect for daily job or gaming also provide really fast responsive time. I do really like this monitor for colors he produce as I am a big fan of saturated colors so this is perfect for me. As I mentioned is ''Almost Perfect''... I have to say that ''Whites'' are no so good and also general brightness of this monitor is not the best but probably that the nature of OLED Panel. Many cables provide with this monitor and Display Port Cable provided with this monitor didn't work while I setup 4K - 240Hz so I had to buy 3 party cable and now is working fine (I did not test HDMI cables provided with monitor). Last but not list I tried to update firmware but it failed so I need to try again but I tried for few days. I You are moving to this monitor from decent IPS 2K monitor do not expect a miracle in therms of quality, You will notice a different for sure but is not a huge. Overall this is a Great Monitor with few drawbacks.

AW3225QF - for the average person this is a beautiful display that enables excellent performance in competitive games like BO6/xdefiant. If you use HDR and Dolby vision it will produce stunning visuals for GPU heavy games like cyberpunk/RDR2. It is very easy to use and there are many options that allow you to adjust for different use cases such as work, gaming, videos. It is also an excellent choice for the ps5 and future gen consoles as at the time of writing it is not actually possible to achieve 240hz at 4k with current gen consoles. Sound: The only thing is you will need a sound-bar for those occasions where you prefer not to use headphones. Mounting options: I was able to mount this onto a 20 year old stand so I reckon you can set this up for various living situations if you do a little research on mounting arms and buy a pack of m5 screws, washers and nuts of varying lengths between 20mm - 30mm.

This product has the potential for a much higher rating but I ran into some serious issues after purchasing 2 of these for my new gaming PC set-up. They were delivered on time and when removing them from the box and assembling them, they really do look the part and are solidly built. Picture was beautiful but I noticed what first appeared to look like splash marks so I thought I would try and clean them off but realised pretty quickly that they were permeanent defects on both monitors. After carrying out some research, I realised that the marks were OLED burn in that should not be present on a brand new monitor, this was later confirmed by a specialist at an electrical retailer who confirmed my concerns. I returned them both and was looking to purchase from Dell directly but they have a policy where they can replace a returned brand new monitor with a refurbished one. I will not be purchasing a Dell product ever again due to this policy. I can only assume that these monitors are refurbished/used units that are being sold as new and at £800 per unit, I would steer well clear or check each unit thoroughly after set up. I have now purchased a Philips Evnia widescreen from Tesco Marketplace and the screen is immaculate so fingers crossed moving forward. It is such a shame that this goes on as the product would be top notch without the issues discussed.

I have owned this monitor for a day and I'm absolutely stunning at its performance. Best OLED on the market. Text reads clear when using the browser or typing in word document. Movies in HDR look stunning. Games in HDR look amazing as well. Zero issues from me. No dead pixels. It's definitely expensive but well worth the money. When doing my research brightness was an issue that kept coming up by "professional" product testers on YouTube. For an average consumer this will impress you. For people that have owned dozens of OLEDs might find something "wrong" with the screen. For me I'm one happy camper.

QD Oled is extremely beautiful and the size and resolution of the screen is great too. The monitor is obviously great for gaming with super fast response times. HDR has been difficult to justify using in my personal use so I cannot comment on that but I can confidently say that this monitor is also excellent for professional colour work given you know the appropriate settings for the monitor. I use it for lots of rec709 Gamma 2.4 colour grading and has great accuracy out of the box. The curve took a while to adjust to but I think I've come to prefer it when sitting at an appropriate distance. The added USBs are convenient but if you're working with high speed ssd external drives the I've noticed it can struggle to read the drives on occasion through a usb extender dongle.

One of the best, if not, THE BEST, gaming monitors I have ever had! works great with PC and Console. Minor settings workage, but nothing taxing, as a dumdum, it was a piece of cake for me aswell. Screen size is perfect for a small bedroom or study set up. Colour is absolutely incredible, as I’m only a midnight gamer, playing this is a dark room is superb. The value is amazing for the product. Sure it doesn’t have speakers built in, but I’m currently in headphone mode (midnight gamer, remember) and with the curve, gaming is bliss. Zero eye strain. Zero migraines. This thing plugged into a 5.1 Sound system I’m sure would be great atmosphere. Alienware for the win!

This is the best screen I ever had, I bought in Like New condition but it wasn't there was a scrath at the back, I contact with Amazon, they refund me partially but after a week or so there is some lines appeared on screen and gets worse with the time, I did a pixel refresh but for a new monitor I didn't want to kept and returned..

Monitor absolutamente incrível. Perfeição. Observações: se for usar com qualquer Mac M1 compre um cabo usb-c - displayport para usar a 120hz. Hdmi no m1 vai até 60hz somente. E desligue o HDR pra deixar o texto com nitidez perfeita. Tela linda, cores, Motion, nível de preto. Absurdamente perfeito.
