Helpful additional resource for AKT revision
This book is clearly presented and covers a good range of the curriculum, with AKT style questions and some good quality pictures. Unfortunately there are a couple of errors which isn't very helpful in a revision book! Also, the AKT exam and clinical guidelines change rapidly and it's hard for books like this to keep up. However, if you've done all of the online revision questions or prefer looking at books, then this is a useful little book to work through but seems quite expensive for the number of questions that you get.

Very useful but time and devolution moves on...
This is a good road testing for those who face into the AKT.With a few exceptions, the questions are clear and easily understood. The picture quality is excellent. The answers are informative and provide useful revision... but is the very last answer a mis-print?It is inevitable that a book like this will be overtaken by events and that seems to be the case in a few of the non-clinical questions. As well it does not seem to be aware of the differences that devolution has brought to the NHS ... e.g Q80 on prescription charges.

Great Book
Just had a my AKT results and they were well above the average. If I'm honest, you'd pass with comfort using Passmedicine, however, it doesn't cover everything and they can be a little dry. This book is clearly layed out and I feel acts as a good supplement to online revision and fills in the gaps online revision can leave.Highly recommended.
