Fluke Networks CIQ-100 Copper Qualification Tester, Qualifies and Troubleshoots Category 5-6A Cabling for 10/100/Gig Ethernet, Coax and Voip, Blue

There are cheaper cat5/6 testers out there but nothing I have seen does what this unit can do. With other testers it's a GO / NO GO test. You can figure that out by using your equipment. This unit identifies a break on each pair and how many feet away it is. It measures network capacity (10/100/1000) for VoIP, data, and video. The device can troubleshoot length, distance to fault, wire map, opens, shorts, PoE, insertion loss, cross talk, and noise issues. The device is capable of advanced diagnostics and can detect single wire faults and supports MultiMap mode with up to seven remote office identifiers. It can also locate and trace cables with digital toning technology. One use of this tool and you will see how much time it will safe you.

Great product and one that I as a cable tech cannot be without. I have utilized this product now for about 6 months on a weekly basis and it never fails me. I also have a fluke 3100 DSP and the Fluke Cable IQ is far simpler to use with the exception that I cannot print out test results (very seldom requested by customer.) I have not needed the 3100 in this six month period. Battery life is great, compact and very reliable.

Used on new home to test the builder's subcontractor for 20 drop CAT6/5 drop Coax network install. Meter paid for itself by more than double it's cost because of faults documented in the Fluke qualification testing report software. Sweetest refund ever at closing from the builder. Then with the meter, I was able to diagnose and fix problems (missing wires, shorts, noise, etc.) in 4 hours.

Very reliable. I did some of my own wiring but had some connections issues. This tool makes it super fast and easy to pin point the location of wiring problems. This item is pricey but saved me hours of my time and is great confirmation that hard wired network connections are fully functional. Expensive but less than half the price of paying a professional to do the work.

Expensive but you get what you pay for. Very accurate, certifies cables up to 1GB, saves results to pass on to customers if deliverables include such.

Easy to use with a broad range of standard tests - perfect for our needs. Not cheap, but I like this features of this model.

I've owned this tester for about 3 years, it does as advertised and has saved me tons of time, one of the best features is the ability to save and print reports from the device but the desktop software doesn't work on Windows 8. I opened a case with Fluke and they confirmed it is not supported. I've asked if there is a fix in the works because you can't even buy a computer these days that doesn't come with windows 8 and windows tablets are a logical companion to these types of devices. I have yet to here back from support after several attempts. If you want to document your scans or share them with anyone make sure you're not on Windows 8 or you're out of luck!

Es un equipo que ayuda mucho para identificar problemas de cableado, así como calificar la velocidad del mismo, realmente en un pequeño certificador, además de la funciones adicionales para ubicar el puerto del switch, continuidad y audio ayudan muchísimo para otro tipo de tableados como de señalización (alarmas) y audio. Muy recomendable

Bought another so we always had 2 on hand .these are amazing,can't recommend enough. We have fluke gold cover incase they break /get dropped which is well worth the money

Purchased Fluke Networks CIQ-100 Cable Tester along with Intellitone Pro200 Probe in May 2021. Both are acceptable but I decided on an upgraded Fluke tester. Waiting on refund from Digital Shopper for 4 months so far, May to Sept 2021.

Lo compre por que es uno de los mejores equipos del mercado. Excelente para los escaneos de red y coxial, ayuda a encontrar fallas muy rapido. Lo recomiendo mucho.
