The first one did not work, but Amozon returns were brilliant, sending a replacement before they received my returned item.The Rotacraft works, but a lot noisier than the Dremel that it replaced, but for the price, I am satisfied so far that it will do the job.A colleague who introduced me to the Rotacraft has had his for 3 years now,and it appears less noisy than mine. Mass production built to a price.

if you are thinking about buying this product, think again. it has little to no power whatsoever, awkward attachment fittings, constant recharging. I was very disappointed with this product and wished I had gone for one of the more reliable brands. Not for the serious model maker, sculptor or general use.

well did the job expected of it.

I have had one of these tools for a number of years - it's ok in itself (for the price), but the battery is RUBBISH. After a couple of months, it wouldn't hold any charge. It was very difficult to find a replacement (I ended up having to go straight to the manufacturer). I bought two replacement batteries and both failed within a year - one leaked all inside the tool itself and now it doesn't work. Not impressed. I've now just bought a Dremel as a replacement, as I wouldn't buy another Rotacraft one. Shame - it would be ok if it wasn't for the battery issue.
