**My reveiw after 11 months of use** I modded my ROG ally as 512gb just cant hold many modern games and my SD card port got toasted. The install was a piece of cake if you have any confidence inside electronic devices. I used this to Install a 4Tb 2280 card and has worked flawlessly after almost a year in close to daily use. I only had one small issue were it had come loose after traveling in my bag all day, but I just opened it up and reseated the card and all has been fine since then. would recommend 100%. this has made my ally so much better having all this space. do yourself a favor and do this mod, it makes all the difference In the world

Works well

It fits great and looks like an OEM install. I inserted my 2280 2TB stick, and the shell closed up perfectly. After restoring the OS, I tested it for an extensive period and it works like a charm (and I experienced no overheating).

Fit well. Had to loosen the battery to slot it in and it has a sort of clip instead of a screw to hold the new NVME on. Aside from that, it works perfectly and now I have 4TB on my ROG ally instead of the pathetic 512GB😆 I like that the PCB of this one is black instead of green. It makes it look much more stock and clean than the green ones out there
