Reading the reviews, there is disagreement on the effectiveness and the pain level. My opinion is the difference is caused by the user technique. The active ingredient is a liquid. If you use this with the nozzle pointing up, you will get no active ingredient. The first time I tried this, the nozzle was pointing up and it didn't do anything. If you use this with the nozzle pointing down, you will get the active ingredient. After using this product correctly, this was my experience.I had a wart approx half the size of a pea on my face. The wart was small and round bit of hard flesh. The instructions say don't use it on the face, so it's on the reader if that's what you want to do. Anyway I used it and it stung for about a day or 2 after. About a week later it dried out leaving a spot of dead skin with a red ring of irritated flesh around it. I peeled off the dead skin. Under the dead skin there was a white paste which I squeezed out. After squeezing out the white paste, there was a small empty sack of membrane that I pulled out with a tweezers. The sack was surprisingly deep in the skin and was not attached to anything, it just pulled out. I've had pimples and this was not a pimple. After that I was left with a red spot. The red spot was not hard, it was smooth and the same consistency as the rest of my skin. After about 2-3 months, the spot is almost gone. I would use this product again. Just make sure to point the nozzle downward. If it doesn't sting, it's not working.

I had a wart that came up on the left side of my face out of nowhere. It just started to grow, so I got Dr. Scholl's Freeze Away Max wart remover spray. It told me that it would have been 10 treatments however it worked in nine and I missed 2 days in between I didn't do the treatment however one thing you need to be careful of this is not recommended for the face and you got some round circles to actually cover the skin of where the wart is. In one of my treatments, I removed it too quickly, and the fluid burnt my face, so I have a little scar, but the wart is gone.
