All I can say is WOW!!! Just had ACL repair surgery and for some reason my ankle was insanely swollen, bruised and hurting like heck. Nothing I did worked. Saw this on Amazon while looking for a solution and figured let’s try it. Got same day delivery which didn’t come until late in the evening. Only had it in the freezer for an hour and decided to give it a try. Left it on for about an hour and lo and behold swelling was gone when I took it off. Only drawback is that it doesn’t get really cold but does stay cool for about 40 mins. Extremely comfortable. Had to go and order the knee version. Hopefully it is the same.

Sprained my ankle really bad a few weeks ago and this was my saving grace… I had my ace bandage underneath and put this on top… I’m a size 7 and got the smaller size. It’s snug so if you’re really hurt it can be a bit painful to get on but it really beats having to tie or hold an ice pack on your foot for 30 minutes.I find that the cold usually lasts for 20 minutes or so and it’s very comfortable with a great thickness/weight to it. Overall, great value for the money and I’ll probably buy another in a larger size for my husband. Zero complaints.

This ice ankle wrap is exactly what I needed for my swollen ankle. It fits perfectly and slides on easy without hassle. No need to struggle with straps or awkward positioning. I love how convenient it is to keep in the freezer, it doesn't take up much space and is always ready when I need it. The cold therapy works quickly, and the design stays comfortablly in place. While these wraps have provided valuable relief during my recovery, I want to be honest about their limitations.What Works Well:- Comfortable to wear and walk in- The gel padding doesn't cover the bottom of the foot, which makes walking much more comfortable than if it extended under the sole- Provides excellent cold therapy relief for pain and swelling- Can be worn barefoot or over socks without losing effectiveness- Compatible with flip-flops and can layer over compression sleeves- Good quality constructionImportant Notes:- These are NOT true compression socks despite the description- Cold therapy doesn't last very long (though this may be intentional for skin safety)- They're a comfort aid, not a cure for serious injuriesI liked the first one enough to order three more so I can rotate them as they warm up. The cold relief has been genuinely helpful during this month-long recovery process.Reality Check:A month later, I'm realizing I likely have torn ligaments and will need to see a doctor anyway. These wraps provided great interim relief, but they can't replace proper medical evaluation for persistent injuries.Bottom Line:Excellent for temporary relief and minor injuries, but don't let them delay necessary medical care for serious or persistent problems.

Does it get cold, yes. Does it lose it's cold, also yes, BUT it's supposed to. Otherwise you'd get frostbite. Those who complain about it not keeping its cold level need a bucket of ice water instead. It should be really cold for 10-15 minutes, and gently compress until it's not cold at all anymore. For me, I found it helps my achilles tendonitis, caused by plantar fasciitis. I just leave it in the freezer, leave it out for a little bit then pull it on. Yes, it'll feel like pins and needles but if ur actually icing your ankle in a therapeutic manner, it's going to feel too cold for a few minutes. (Be sure to check ur skin periodically to make sure it's therapeutic and not damaging)I find the sleeve comfortable and easy to use and chill. I wish they came as a pair instead of single. I haven't had any leakage just the ice crystals that form melting once on my ankle. There also isn't that weird smell that products like this often have. So happy about that!

Absolutely love the combination of cold and light compression! This is 100% as advertised. I stand during the day and this allows me to quickly apply cold to my achillis tendnitis throughout the day without a cluncky cold wrap I am trying to fit around my ankle and heel that forces me to sit while it is on. The time estimates for get cold/freeze and time it stays cold estimates are on target. It comes with a zip pouch for easy storage in the freezer and easy travel to pop in a freezer away from home to keep up the cold treatment. I ordered one. Now that I am on board with it, ordering a second!

This gel boot is amazing. Soft and comfortable and the snuggness is just right for the pressure needed. Worked wonder for my swollen sprained ankle versus ice packs and zip locks that leak and slide and do not form to the ankle. This boot sleeve stays in place until you remove it. I bet it would even fit over an elbow if needed. I cannot believe I've gone this long before finding this product! 100 stars if I could!! Swelling went down soo much quicker.
