Natures Earthly Choice Freekeh (3LB package)

I had never heard of Freekah until a few weeks ago when I read a post on a Website about how tasty and filling it was. I priced it in the only store in my area that sold Freekah and it was 13.95 a pound. I found the Freekah on Amazon 3 pounds for 17 bucks. I ordered it and it is delicious supplies plenty of fiber. Freekah can replace rice and pasta in most dishes. I will buy more. Oh and the three pounds makes about 10 pounds of edible grain.

I love freekeh as my mom use to cook it often. This one tastes good but... 3 months after buying it and moths grew in it!!!!

Shipping was fast, which is a good thing since the product has an expiration date only three weeks out! Not sure I can eat three pounds of this stuff in three week. I'd give only one star, but I guess technically, I did receive it prior to the expiration date...just prior.

Purchased after seeing it on Dr Oz, I think it is something you have to get used to. Being a black rice and red and white Quinoa eater it is different but I think it will be a great addition to my diet. Great packaging and came really fast!

This is reportedly super nutritious and so I bought it as an rotation addition to rice, bread and pasta. Definitely not bland so not truly interchangeable. Has a hearty taste that we enjoy. Still intend to try it as a hot cereal. Note the other reason I bought it: "Free of chemical preservatives and anything genetically-modified. Low-glycemic compared to other grains." Would buy it again.

This freekeh cooks quickly and easily, and I love using it in grain salads. Oddly, I received a 4 pound bag (rather than the advertised 3 pounds), and it was also organic, which it didn't seem to say on the description. The listing for this item should be updated, but other than that I am very satisfied with this product.

My first try fixing and enjoying Freekeh. I think this grain will become our favorite. Cooks great in my electric pressure cooker with broth, onions & turns out so yummy. Try it, so good & good for you.

We tried it first time - nothing special! It is not so economical food.
