Is this suitable for larger dogs?

This is only for small indoor dogs under 25 lbs due to the plush toy and the ceiling hook it hangs from. There is an outdoor tree hanging version for larger dogs.

My 21lb French bulldog has managed to pull this out of two different ceiling studs...is there a sturdier screw I can use? She loves this toy!

Hi, Glad to hear your dog loves the toy. We only offer the one ceiling hook and never had any issues yet. You could easily hang the toy from any hook that you find however. So maybe a larger hook that can drive in a little farther into the wood. Hope that helps.

How does the hook attach to the ceiling?

The hook is two pieces. One piece is a normal screw that you install into a wood joist. You have to find that one which is the hardest part. After the screw is in the hook easily attached without tools to the screw and can easily by removed or reinstalled.

I have a 30 pound labradoodle. Do I buy a outdoor large dog or Indoor small dog?

The outdoor Tugger is for hanging on something outdoors like a tree branch. I would suggest the small size for your size dog. The only difference between the sizes is the size of the ball knot. The indoor Tugger is for hanging from your ceiling using our supplies ceiling hook. We recommend 25 lb dogs or less but we have seen customers use it with much larger dogs. That is up to the owner.
