Premium Licorice Root Tea (80ct) is the best licorice tea for price. Licorice steeps quickly and has a strong sweet flavor without stirring. I drink almost daily. This is my 2nd order.

The scent is very woodsy and the first drink is bitter like a wood pencil, but the taste overall is very sweet!

It is a good tea but very sweet - needs no sugar!!!

The packets are little so I thought I’d get little out of it. Not so, I get at least two good cups and I but a weak third is possible. The taste is interesting. It’s good but it just borders on tasting like licorice. I try with my imagination to make it so. Here’s another odd thing, though it tastes very good and it’s pure tea, it’s sweet enough to not need sweetener! Have to trust that it isn’t sweetened, it says it isn’t. Good deal- the price, the taste. Well worth it.

I love licorice root tea and was hopeful but this tea does not taste good. There is a subtle hint of licorice that is overwhelmed by the smell and taste of staleness. It almost smells burnt right out of the bag. I 100% don’t recommend and unfortunately due to this being perishable, I can’t return it. I didn’t think the tea could be messed up but this one sure did!

Exceptional sweet licorice taste. After reading comments about plastic in the tea bags, and observing the stiffness described by others, when the bags dry after use, I decided to try cutting one open and brewing tea without the bag. This worked well, once I figured out to use a fine gauge strainer that came with a borosilicate (lab quality) glass tea pot. By limiting myself to one (opened) tea bag per day, there's no danger of 'overdosing' on licorice or having any side effects. One bag makes a good-tasting 5-cup pot of tea. It also seems like an economical deal, with 80 bags. Thought I was 'reordering' same licorice tea I got before, but this brand and bag type and # of bags is different. Sweet tea, sweet deal.

Absolutely delicious tea. I've got all my colleagues drinking it at work too haha. Everyone loves it. I sometimes make a tea cocktail and put a bag of liquorice and a bag of green tea together (all the benefits of green tea but with the sweet taste of this) - try it!

Expensive pleasant but not very strong. Needs 2 bags per cup for flavour. I’m persuaded it might be more sustainable ie no plastic in the bag fabric, not overly clear.

overly sweet. possibly the worse tea ive tasted. Far too sweet. hardly any flavour of liquorice. and the after taste lingers in your mouth for ages. tastes like a cup of hot sugar water.
